1 పిలాతు గలిలయులైన కొందరి రక్తము వారి బలులతో కలిపియుండెను. ఆ కాలమున అక్కడనున్న కొందరు ఆ సంగతి యేసుతో చెప్పగా
2 ఆయన వారితో ఇట్లనెనుఈ గలిలయులు అట్టి హింసలు పొందినందున వారు గలిలయులందరికంటె పాపులని మీరు తలంచు చున్నారా?
3 కారని మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాను; మీరు మారుమనస్సు పొందనియెడల మీరందరును ఆలాగే నశింతురు.
4 మరియు సిలోయములోని గోపురము పడి చచ్చిన ఆ పదునెనిమిదిమంది, యెరూషలేములో కాపుర మున్నవారందరికంటె అపరాధులని తలంచుచున్నారా?
5 కారని మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాను; మీరు మారుమనస్సు పొందనియెడల మీరందరును ఆలాగే నశింతురు.
1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
