మరునాడతడు రెండు దేనారములు తీసి ఆ పూట కూళ్లవానికిచ్చిఇతని పరామర్శించుము, నీవింకే మైనను ఖర్చు చేసినయెడల నేను మరల వచ్చునప్పుడు అది నీకు తీర్చెదనని అతనితో చెప్పి పోయెను.

And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

American Standard Version (ASV)
And on the morrow he took out two shillings, and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, I, when I come back again, will repay thee.
