Lamentations 2:17
యెహోవా తాను యోచించిన కార్యము ముగించి యున్నాడు పూర్వదినములలో తాను విధించినది ఆయన నెరవేర్చి యున్నాడు శేషములేకుండ నిన్ను పాడుచేసియున్నాడు నిన్నుబట్టి శత్రువులు సంతోషించునట్లు చేసి యున్నాడు నీ పగవారి శృంగమును హెచ్చించియున్నాడు.

| he had commanded | צִוָּ֣ה | ṣiwwâ | tsee-WA |
| days the in | מִֽימֵי | mîmê | MEE-may |
| of old: | קֶ֔דֶם | qedem | KEH-dem |
| down, thrown hath he | הָרַ֖ס | hāras | ha-RAHS |
| and hath not | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| pitied: | חָמָ֑ל | ḥāmāl | ha-MAHL |
| enemy thine caused hath he and | וַיְשַׂמַּ֤ח | wayśammaḥ | vai-sa-MAHK |
| rejoice to | עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ | ʿālayik | ah-LA-yeek |
| over | אוֹיֵ֔ב | ʾôyēb | oh-YAVE |
| up set hath he thee, | הֵרִ֖ים | hērîm | hay-REEM |
| the horn | קֶ֥רֶן | qeren | KEH-ren |
| of thine adversaries. | צָרָֽיִךְ׃ | ṣārāyik | tsa-RA-yeek |
