కాబట్టి లాయిషుదేశమును సంచరించుటకు పోయిన ఆ అయిదుగురు మను ష్యులు తమ సహోదరులను చూచిఈ యిండ్లలో ఏఫోదును గృహదేవతలును చెక్క బడిన ప్రతిమయు పోతవిగ్రహమును ఉన్నవని మీరెరుగుదురా? మీరేమి చేయవలెనో దాని యోచన చేయుడనగా

விறகுகளைப் பொறுக்கின அந்த மனிதனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தவர்கள், அவனை மோசே ஆரோன் என்பவர்களிடத்திற்கும் சபையார் அனைவரிடத்திற்கும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

him gathering	אֹת֔וֹ	ʾōtô	oh-TOH
sticks	הַמֹּֽצְאִ֥ים	hammōṣĕʾîm	ha-moh-tseh-EEM
brought	אֹת֖וֹ	ʾōtô	oh-TOH

to spy out	לְרַגֵּל֮	lĕraggēl	leh-ra-ɡALE
	אֶת	ʾet	et
country the	הָאָ֣רֶץ	hāʾāreṣ	ha-AH-rets
of Laish,	לַיִשׁ֒	layiš	la-YEESH
and said	וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙	wayyōʾmĕrû	va-yoh-meh-ROO
unto	אֶל	ʾel	el
brethren, their	אֲחֵיהֶ֔ם	ʾăḥêhem	uh-hay-HEM
Do ye know	הַיְדַעְתֶּ֗ם	haydaʿtem	hai-da-TEM
that	כִּ֠י	kî	kee
is there	יֵ֣שׁ	yēš	yaysh
in these	בַּבָּתִּ֤ים	babbottîm	ba-boh-TEEM
houses	הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙	hāʾēlleh	ha-A-LEH
an ephod,	אֵפ֣וֹד	ʾēpôd	ay-FODE
teraphim, and	וּתְרָפִ֔ים	ûtĕrāpîm	oo-teh-ra-FEEM
and a graven image,	וּפֶ֖סֶל	ûpesel	oo-FEH-sel
