וַיְהִ֣י there vai-HEE הַיּ֔וֹם was HA-yome וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ a va-ya-VOH-OO בְּנֵ֣י day beh-NAY הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים when ha-ay-loh-HEEM לְהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב the leh-heet-ya-TSAVE עַל sons al יְהוָ֑ה of yeh-VA וַיָּב֤וֹא God va-ya-VOH גַֽם came ɡahm הַשָּׂטָן֙ to ha-sa-TAHN בְּתֹכָ֔ם present beh-toh-HAHM לְהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב themselves leh-heet-ya-TSAVE עַל before al יְהוָֽה׃ the yeh-VA -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר the va-YOH-mer יְהוָה֙ Lord yeh-VA אֶל said el הַשָּׂטָ֔ן unto ha-sa-TAHN אֵ֥י Satan, ay מִזֶּ֖ה From mee-ZEH תָּבֹ֑א whence ta-VOH וַיַּ֨עַן comest va-YA-an הַשָּׂטָ֤ן thou? ha-sa-TAHN אֶת And et יְהוָה֙ Satan yeh-VA וַיֹּאמַ֔ר answered va-yoh-MAHR מִשֻּׁ֣ט mee-SHOOT בָּאָ֔רֶץ the ba-AH-rets וּמֵֽהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ Lord, oo-may-heet-ha-LAKE בָּֽהּ׃ and ba -
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר the va-YOH-mer יְהוָ֜ה Lord yeh-VA אֶל said el הַשָּׂטָ֗ן unto ha-sa-TAHN הֲשַׂ֣מְתָּ Satan, huh-SAHM-ta לִבְּךָ֮ Hast lee-beh-HA אֶל thou el עַבְדִּ֣י considered av-DEE אִיּוֹב֒ my ee-YOVE כִּי֩ servant kee אֵ֨ין Job, ane כָּמֹ֜הוּ that ka-MOH-hoo בָּאָ֗רֶץ there ba-AH-rets אִ֣ישׁ is eesh תָּ֧ם none tahm וְיָשָׁ֛ר like veh-ya-SHAHR יְרֵ֥א him yeh-RAY אֱלֹהִ֖ים in ay-loh-HEEM וְסָ֣ר the veh-SAHR מֵרָ֑ע earth, may-RA וְעֹדֶ֙נּוּ֙ a veh-oh-DEH-NOO מַֽחֲזִ֣יק perfect ma-huh-ZEEK בְּתֻמָּת֔וֹ and beh-too-ma-TOH וַתְּסִיתֵ֥נִי an va-teh-see-TAY-nee ב֖וֹ upright voh לְבַלְּע֥וֹ man, leh-va-leh-OH חִנָּֽם׃ one hee-NAHM -
וַיַּ֧עַן Satan va-YA-an הַשָּׂטָ֛ן answered ha-sa-TAHN אֶת et יְהוָ֖ה the yeh-VA וַיֹּאמַ֑ר Lord, va-yoh-MAHR ע֣וֹר and ore בְּעַד said, beh-AD ע֗וֹר Skin ore וְכֹל֙ for veh-HOLE אֲשֶׁ֣ר skin, uh-SHER לָאִ֔ישׁ la-EESH יִתֵּ֖ן yea, yee-TANE בְּעַ֥ד all beh-AD נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ that nahf-SHOH -
אוּלָם֙ put oo-LAHM שְֽׁלַֽח forth SHEH-LAHK נָ֣א thine na יָֽדְךָ֔ hand ya-deh-HA וְגַ֥ע now, veh-ɡA אֶל and el עַצְמ֖וֹ touch ats-MOH וְאֶל veh-EL בְּשָׂר֑וֹ his beh-sa-ROH אִם bone eem לֹ֥א and loh אֶל his el פָּנֶ֖יךָ flesh, pa-NAY-ha יְבָרֲכֶֽךָּ׃ and yeh-va-ruh-HEH-ka -
וַיֹּ֧אמֶר the va-YOH-mer יְהוָ֛ה Lord yeh-VA אֶל said el הַשָּׂטָ֖ן unto ha-sa-TAHN הִנּ֣וֹ Satan, HEE-noh בְיָדֶ֑ךָ Behold, veh-ya-DEH-ha אַ֖ךְ he ak אֶת is et נַפְשׁ֥וֹ in nahf-SHOH שְׁמֹֽר׃ thine sheh-MORE -
וַיֵּצֵא֙ went va-yay-TSAY הַשָּׂטָ֔ן Satan ha-sa-TAHN מֵאֵ֖ת forth may-ATE פְּנֵ֣י from peh-NAY יְהוָ֑ה the yeh-VA וַיַּ֤ךְ presence va-YAHK אֶת of et אִיּוֹב֙ the ee-YOVE בִּשְׁחִ֣ין Lord, beesh-HEEN רָ֔ע and ra מִכַּ֥ף smote mee-KAHF רַגְל֖וֹ rahɡ-LOH עַ֥ד Job ad קָדְקֳדֽוֹ׃ with kode-koh-DOH -
וַיִּֽקַּֽח he va-YEE-KAHK ל֣וֹ took loh חֶ֔רֶשׂ him HEH-res לְהִתְגָּרֵ֖ד a leh-heet-ɡa-RADE בּ֑וֹ potsherd boh וְה֖וּא to veh-HOO יֹשֵׁ֥ב scrape yoh-SHAVE בְּתוֹךְ himself beh-TOKE הָאֵֽפֶר׃ withal; ha-A-fer -
וַתֹּ֤אמֶר said va-TOH-mer לוֹ֙ his loh אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ wife eesh-TOH עֹֽדְךָ֖ unto oh-deh-HA מַֽחֲזִ֣יק him, ma-huh-ZEEK בְּתֻמָּתֶ֑ךָ Dost beh-too-ma-TEH-ha בָּרֵ֥ךְ thou ba-RAKE אֱלֹהִ֖ים still ay-loh-HEEM וָמֻֽת׃ retain va-MOOT -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֵלֶ֗יהָ said ay-LAY-ha כְּדַבֵּ֞ר unto keh-da-BARE אַחַ֤ת her, ah-HAHT הַנְּבָלוֹת֙ Thou ha-neh-va-LOTE תְּדַבֵּ֔רִי speakest teh-da-BAY-ree גַּ֣ם as ɡahm אֶת one et הַטּ֗וֹב of HA-tove נְקַבֵּל֙ the neh-ka-BALE מֵאֵ֣ת foolish may-ATE הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים women ha-ay-loh-HEEM וְאֶת speaketh. veh-ET הָרָ֖ע What? ha-RA לֹ֣א shall loh נְקַבֵּ֑ל we neh-ka-BALE בְּכָל receive beh-HAHL זֹ֛את zote לֹֽא good loh חָטָ֥א at ha-TA אִיּ֖וֹב the EE-yove בִּשְׂפָתָֽיו׃ hand bees-fa-TAIV -
וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֞וּ when va-yeesh-meh-OO שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת׀ Job's sheh-LOH-shet רֵעֵ֣י three ray-A אִיּ֗וֹב friends EE-yove אֵ֣ת heard ate כָּל kahl הָֽרָעָ֣ה of ha-ra-AH הַזֹּאת֮ all ha-ZOTE הַבָּ֣אָה this ha-BA-ah עָלָיו֒ evil ah-lav וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ that va-ya-VOH-OO אִ֣ישׁ was eesh מִמְּקֹמ֔וֹ come mee-meh-koh-MOH אֱלִיפַ֤ז upon ay-lee-FAHZ הַתֵּֽימָנִי֙ him, ha-tay-ma-NEE וּבִלְדַּ֣ד they oo-veel-DAHD הַשּׁוּחִ֔י came ha-shoo-HEE וְצוֹפַ֖ר every veh-tsoh-FAHR הַנַּֽעֲמָתִ֑י one ha-na-uh-ma-TEE וַיִּוָּֽעֲד֣וּ from va-yee-wa-uh-DOO יַחְדָּ֔ו his yahk-DAHV לָב֥וֹא own la-VOH לָנֽוּד place; la-NOOD ל֖וֹ Eliphaz loh וּֽלְנַחֲמֽוֹ׃ the OO-leh-na-huh-MOH -
וַיִּשְׂא֨וּ when va-yees-OO אֶת they et עֵֽינֵיהֶ֤ם lifted ay-nay-HEM מֵֽרָחוֹק֙ up may-ra-HOKE וְלֹ֣א veh-LOH הִכִּירֻ֔הוּ their hee-kee-ROO-hoo וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ eyes va-yees-OO קוֹלָ֖ם afar koh-LAHM וַיִּבְכּ֑וּ off, va-yeev-KOO וַֽיִּקְרְעוּ֙ and va-yeek-reh-OO אִ֣ישׁ knew eesh מְעִל֔וֹ him meh-ee-LOH וַיִּזְרְק֥וּ not, va-yeez-reh-KOO עָפָ֛ר they ah-FAHR עַל lifted al רָֽאשֵׁיהֶ֖ם up ra-shay-HEM הַשָּׁמָֽיְמָה׃ their ha-sha-MA-yeh-ma -
וַיֵּֽשְׁב֤וּ they va-yay-sheh-VOO אִתּוֹ֙ sat ee-TOH לָאָ֔רֶץ down la-AH-rets שִׁבְעַ֥ת with sheev-AT יָמִ֖ים him ya-MEEM וְשִׁבְעַ֣ת upon veh-sheev-AT לֵיל֑וֹת the lay-LOTE וְאֵין ground veh-ANE דֹּבֵ֤ר seven doh-VARE אֵלָיו֙ days ay-lav דָּבָ֔ר and da-VAHR כִּ֣י seven kee רָא֔וּ nights, ra-OO כִּֽי and kee גָדַ֥ל none ɡa-DAHL הַכְּאֵ֖ב spake ha-keh-AVE מְאֹֽד׃ a meh-ODE
