Jeremiah 44:13
యెరూషలేము నివాసులను నేనే లాగు శిక్షించితినో ఆలాగే ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నివసించు వీరిని ఖడ్గముచేతగాని క్షామముచేతగాని తెగులుచేతగాని శిక్షించెదను.

| punished have I | פָּקַ֖דְתִּי | pāqadtî | pa-KAHD-tee |
| עַל | ʿal | al | |
| Jerusalem, | יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם | yĕrûšālāim | yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM |
| by the sword, | בַּחֶ֖רֶב | baḥereb | ba-HEH-rev |
| famine, the by | בָּרָעָ֖ב | bārāʿāb | ba-ra-AV |
| and by the pestilence: | וּבַדָּֽבֶר׃ | ûbaddāber | oo-va-DA-ver |
