బారూకు యెహోవా మందిరములో లేఖికుడైన షాఫాను కుమారుడైన గెమర్యా గదికి పైగానున్న శాలలో యెహోవా మందిరపు క్రొత్త ద్వారపు ప్రవేశమున ప్రజలందరు వినునట్లు యిర్మీయా చెప్పిన మాటలను గ్రంథములోనుండి చదివి వినిపించెను.
