Jeremiah 12:3
యెహోవా, నీవు నన్నెరిగియున్నావు; నన్ను చూచు చున్నావు; నా హృదయము నీ పట్ల ఎట్లున్నది నీవు శోధించుచున్నావు; వధకు ఏర్పడిన గొఱ్ఱలనువలె వారిని హతముచేయుము, వధదినమునకు వారిని ప్రతిష్ఠించుము.

| O Lord, | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| knowest | יְדַעְתָּ֔נִי | yĕdaʿtānî | yeh-da-TA-nee |
| seen hast thou me: | תִּרְאֵ֕נִי | tirʾēnî | teer-A-nee |
| me, and tried | וּבָחַנְתָּ֥ | ûbāḥantā | oo-va-hahn-TA |
| heart mine | לִבִּ֖י | libbî | lee-BEE |
| toward | אִתָּ֑ךְ | ʾittāk | ee-TAHK |
| out them pull thee: | הַתִּקֵם֙ | hattiqēm | ha-tee-KAME |
| like sheep | כְּצֹ֣אן | kĕṣōn | keh-TSONE |
| for the slaughter, | לְטִבְחָ֔ה | lĕṭibḥâ | leh-teev-HA |
| prepare and | וְהַקְדִּשֵׁ֖ם | wĕhaqdišēm | veh-hahk-dee-SHAME |
| them for the day | לְי֥וֹם | lĕyôm | leh-YOME |
| of slaughter. | הֲרֵגָֽה׃ | hărēgâ | huh-ray-ɡA |
