James 4 - ASV (Telugu)

1 Whence `come' wars and whence `come' fightings among you? `come they' not hence, `even' of your pleasures that war in your members?మీలో యుద్ధములును పోరాటములును దేనినుండి కలుగుచున్నవి? మీ అవయవములలో పోరాడు మీ భోగేచ్ఛలనుండియే గదా?

2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and covet, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war; ye have not, because ye ask not.మీరాశించుచున్నారు గాని మీకు దొరకుటలేదు; నరహత్యచేయుదురు మత్సర పడుదురు గాని సంపాదించుకొనలేరు; పోట్లాడుదురు యుద్ధము చేయుదురు గాని దేవుని అడుగనందున మీ కేమియు దొరకదు.

3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend `it' in your pleasures.మీరడిగినను మీ భోగముల నిమిత్తము వినియోగించుటకై దురుద్దేశముతో అడుగుదురు గనుక మీకేమియు దొరకుటలేదు.

4 Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.వ్యభిచారిణులారా, యీ లోకస్నేహము దేవునితో వైరమని మీరెరుగరా? కాబట్టియెవడు ఈ లోకముతో స్నేహము చేయగోరునో వాడు దేవునికి శత్రువగును.

5 Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?ఆయన మనయందు నివ సింపజేసిన ఆత్మ మత్సరపడునంతగా అపేక్షించునా అను లేఖనము చెప్పునది వ్యర్థమని అనుకొనుచున్నారా?

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore `the scripture' saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.కాదుగాని, ఆయన ఎక్కువ కృప నిచ్చును; అందుచేతదేవుడు అహంకారులను ఎదిరించి దీనులకు కృప అనుగ్ర హించును అని లేఖనము చెప్పుచున్నది.

7 Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.కాబట్టి దేవునికి లోబడియుండుడి, అపవాదిని ఎదిరించుడి, అప్పుడు వాడు మీయొద్దనుండి పారిపోవును.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded.దేవునియొద్దకు రండి, అప్పుడాయన మీయొద్దకు వచ్చును, పాపులారా, మీ చేతులను శుభ్రముచేసికొనుడి; ద్విమనస్కులారా, మీ హృదయములను పరిశుద్ధపరచుకొనుడి.

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.వ్యాకుల పడుడి, దుఃఖపడుడి, యేడువుడి, మీ నవ్వు దుఃఖమునకును మీ ఆనందము చింతకును మార్చుకొనుడి.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall exalt you.ప్రభువు దృష్టికి మిమ్మును మీరు తగ్గించుకొనుడి. అప్పుడాయన మిమ్మును హెచ్చించును.

11 Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.సహోదరులారా, ఒకనికి విరోధముగా ఒకడు మాట లాడకుడి. తన సహోదరునికి విరోధముగా మాటలాడి తన సహోదరునికి తీర్పు తీర్చువాడు ధర్మశాస్త్రమునకు వ్యతిరేకముగా మాటలాడి ధర్మశాస్త్రమునకు తీర్పుతీర్చు చున్నాడు. నీవు ధర్మశాస్త్రమునకు తీర్పు తీర్చినయెడల ధర్మశాస్త్రమును నెరవేర్చువాడవుకాక న్యాయము విధించు వాడవైతివి.

12 One `only' is the lawgiver and judge, `even' he who is able to save and to destroy: but who art thou that judgest thy neighbor?ఒక్కడే ధర్మశాస్త్రమును నియమించి న్యాయము విధించువాడు. ఆయనే రక్షించుటకును నశింపజేయుటకును శక్తిమంతుడై యున్నాడు; పరునికి తీర్పు తీర్చుటకు నీవెవడవు?

13 Come now, ye that say, To-day or to-morrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain:నేడైనను రేపైనను ఒకానొక పట్టణమునకు వెళ్లి అక్కడ ఒక సంవత్సరముండి వ్యాపారముచేసి లాభము సంపాదింతము రండని చెప్పుకొనువార లారా,

14 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.రేపేమి సంభవించునో మీకు తెలియదు. మీ జీవమేపాటిది? మీరు కొంతసేపు కనబడి అంతలో మాయమైపోవు ఆవిరి వంటివారే.

15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that.కనుకప్రభువు చిత్తమైతే మనము బ్రదికియుండి ఇది అది చేతమని చెప్పుకొనవలెను.

16 But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil.ఇప్పుడైతే మీరు మీ డంబములయందు అతిశయపడుచున్నారు. ఇట్టి అతిశయమంతయు చెడ్డది.

17 To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.కాబట్టి మేలైనదిచేయ నెరిగియు ఆలాగు చేయనివానికి పాపము కలుగును.
