Isaiah 25

1 యెహోవా, నీవే నా దేవుడవు నేను నిన్ను హెచ్చించెదను నీ నామమును స్తుతించె దను నీవు అద్భుతములు చేసితివి, సత్యస్వభావము ననుస రించి నీవు పూర్వకాలమున చేసిన నీ ఆలోచనలు నెరవేర్చితివి

2 నీవు పట్టణము దిబ్బగాను ప్రాకారముగల పట్టణము పాడుగాను అన్యుల నగరి పట్టణముగా మరల ఉండకుండ నీవు చేసితివి అది మరల ఎన్నడును కట్టబడకుండ చేసితివి.

3 భీకరుల ఊపిరి గోడకు తగిలిన గాలివానవలె ఉండగా నీవు బీదలకు శరణ్యముగా ఉంటివి దరిద్రులకు కలిగిన శ్రమలో వారికి శరణ్యముగాను గాలివాన తగులకుండ ఆశ్రయముగాను వెట్ట తగుల కుండ నీడగాను ఉంటివి.

4 కాబట్టి బలిష్ఠులైన జనులు నిన్ను ఘనపరచెదరు భీకరజనముల పట్టణస్థులు నీకు భయపడుదురు.

5 ఎండిన దేశములో ఎండ వేడిమి అణగిపోవునట్లు నీవు అన్యుల ఘోషను అణచివేసితివి మేఘచ్ఛాయవలన ఎండ అణచివేయబడునట్లు బలాత్కారుల జయకీర్తన అణచివేయబడును.

6 ఈ పర్వతముమీద సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా సమస్తజనముల నిమిత్తము క్రొవ్వినవాటితో విందు చేయును మడ్డిమీదనున్న ద్రాక్షారసముతో విందుచేయును nమూలుగుగల క్రొవ్వినవాటితో విందుచేయును మడ్డిమీది నిర్మలమైన ద్రాక్షారసముతో విందుచేయును.

7 సమస్తజనముల ముఖములను కప్పుచున్న ముసుకును సమస్త జనములమీద పరచబడిన తెరను ఈ పర్వతము మీద ఆయన తీసివేయును

8 మరెన్నడును ఉండకుండ మరణమును ఆయన మింగి వేయును. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ప్రతివాని ముఖముమీది బాష్ప బిందువులను తుడిచివేయును భూమిమీదనుండి తన జనులనిందను తీసివేయును ఈలాగున జరుగుననియెహోవా సెలవిచ్చియున్నాడు.

9 ఆ దినమున జనులీలాగు నందురు ఇదిగో మనలను రక్షించునని మనము కనిపెట్టుకొని యున్న మన దేవుడు మనము కనిపెట్టుకొనిన యెహోవా ఈయనే ఆయన రక్షణనుబట్టి సంతోషించి ఉత్సహింతము.

10 యెహోవా హస్తము ఈ పర్వతముమీద నిలుచును పెంటకుప్పలో వరిగడ్డి త్రొక్కబడునట్లు మోయాబీయులు తమ చోటనే త్రొక్కబడుదురు.

11 ఈతగాండ్రు ఈదుటకు తమ చేతులను చాపునట్లు వారు దాని మధ్యను తమ చేతులను చాపుదురు వారెన్ని తంత్రములు పన్నినను యెహోవా వారి గర్వమును అణచివేయును.

12 మోయాబూ, నీ ప్రాకారముల పొడవైన కోటలను ఆయన క్రుంగగొట్టును వాటిని నేలకు అణగద్రొక్కి ధూళిపాలుచేయును.

1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

2 For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

6 And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

10 For in this mountain shall the hand of the Lord rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

11 And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

12 And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?

3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.

9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.

11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?

12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?

13 That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?

14 As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the Lord caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.

15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?

16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

17 O Lord, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

18 The people of thy holiness have possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.

19 We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
