1 The word about Tyre. Let a cry of sorrow go up, O ships of Tarshish, because your strong place is made waste; on the way back from the land of Kittim the news is given to them.తూరునుగూర్చిన దేవోక్తి తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి తూరు పాడైపోయెను ఇల్లయినను లేదు ప్రవేశమార్గమైనను లేదు కిత్తీయుల దేశమునుండి ఆ సంగతి వారికి వెల్లడి చేయబడెను.

2 Send out a cry of grief, you men of the sea-land, traders of Zidon, who go over the sea, whose representatives are on great waters;సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగలార్చుడి సముద్రము దాటుచుండు సీదోను వర్తకులు తమ సర కులతో నిన్ను నింపిరి.

3 Who get in the seed of Shihor, whose wealth is the trade of the nations.షీహోరు నది ధాన్యము నైలునది పంట సముద్రముమీద నీలోనికి తేబడుచుండెను తూరువలన జనములకు లాభము వచ్చెను.

4 Be shamed, O Zidon: for the sea, the strong place of the sea has said, I have not been with child, or given birth; I have not taken care of young men, or kept watch over the growth of virgins.సీదోనూ, సిగ్గుపడుము, సముద్రము సముద్రదుర్గము మాటలాడుచున్నది నేను ప్రసవవేదనపడనిదానను పిల్లలు కననిదానను ¸°వనస్థులను పోషింపనిదానను కన్యకలను పెంచనిదానను.

5 When the news comes to Egypt they will be bitterly pained at the fate of Tyre.ఆ వర్తమానము ఐగుప్తీయులు విని తూరును గూర్చి మిక్కిలి దుఃఖింతురు.

6 Go over to Tarshish; give cries of sorrow, O men of the sea-land.తర్షీషునకు వెళ్లుడి సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగ లార్చుడి.

7 Is this the town which was full of joy, whose start goes back to times long past, whose wanderings took her into far-off countries?నీకు సంతోషము కలుగజేసిన పట్టణమిదేనా? ప్రాచీన కాలముననుండిన పట్టణమిదేనా? పరదేశనివాసముచేయుటకు దూరప్రయాణముచేసిన దిదేనా?

8 By whom was this purposed against Tyre, the crowning town, whose traders are chiefs, whose business men are honoured in the land?దాని వర్తకులు రాజసమానులు దాని వ్యాపారులు భూనివాసులలో ఘనులు కిరీటముల నిచ్చుచుండు తూరుకు ఈలాగు చేయ నెవడు ఉద్దేశించెను?

9 It was the purpose of the Lord of armies to put pride to shame, to make sport of the glory of those who are honoured in the earth.సర్వసౌందర్య గర్వాతిశయమును అపవిత్రపరచుట కును భూమిమీదనున్న సర్వఘనులను అవమానపరచుటకును సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు చేయ నుద్దేశించెను.

10 Let your land be worked with the plough, O daughter of Tarshish; there is no longer any harbour.తర్షీషుకుమారీ, నీ దేశమునకిక నడికట్టు లేకపోయెను నైలునది ప్రవహించునట్లు దానిమీద ప్రవహించుము.

11 His hand is stretched out over the sea, the kingdoms are shaking: the Lord has given orders about Canaan, to make waste its strong places.ఆయన సముద్రముమీద తన చెయ్యి చాపెను రాజ్యములను కంపింపజేసెను కనానుకోటలను నశింపజేయుటకు యెహోవా దాని గూర్చి ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

12 And he said, There is no more joy for you, O crushed virgin daughter of Zidon: up! go over to Kittim; even there you will have no rest.మరియు ఆయన సీదోను కన్యకా, చెరపబడినదానా, నీకికను సంతోషముండదు నీవు లేచి కిత్తీముకు దాటి పొమ్ము అక్కడనైనను నీకు నెమ్మది కలుగదు

13 ...ఇదిగో కల్దీయుల దేశమును చూడుము వారికను జన ముగా ఉండరు అష్షూరీయులు దానిని అడవిమృగములకు నివాసముగా చేసియున్నారు. వారు కోటలు కట్టించి దాని నగరులను పడగొట్టి యున్నారు.

14 Let a cry of sorrow go up, O ships of Tarshish: because your strong place is made waste.తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి, మీ దుర్గము పాడై పోయెను.

15 And it will be in that day that Tyre will go out of mind for seventy years, that is, the days of one king: after the end of seventy years it will be for Tyre as in the song of the loose woman.ఒక రాజు ఏలుబడిలో జరిగినట్లు తూరు ఆ దినమున డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములు మరవబడును డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములైన తరువాత వేశ్యల కీర్తనలో ఉన్నట్లు జరుగును, ఏమనగా

16 Take an instrument of music, go about the town, O loose woman who has gone out from the memory of man; make sweet melody with songs, so that you may come back to men's minds.మరవబడిన వేశ్యా, సితారాతీసికొని పట్టణములో తిరుగులాడుము నీవు జ్ఞాపకమునకు వచ్చునట్లు ఇంపుగా వాయిం చుము అనేక కీర్తనలు పాడుము.

17 And it will be after the end of seventy years, that the Lord will have mercy on Tyre, and she will go back to her trade, acting as a loose woman with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth.డెబ్బది సంవత్సరముల అంతమున యెహోవా తూరును దర్శించును అది వేశ్యజీతమునకు మరల భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త లోక రాజ్యములతో వ్యభిచారము చేయును.

18 And her goods and her trade will be holy to the Lord: they will not be kept back or stored up; for her produce will be for those living in the Lord's land, to give them food for their needs, and fair clothing.వేశ్యజీతముగా ఉన్నదాని వర్తకలాభము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమగును అది కూర్చబడదు ధననిధిలో వేయబడదు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నివసించువారికి సంతుష్టి ఇచ్చు భోజనమునకును ప్రశస్త వస్త్రములకును ఆ పట్టణపు లాభము ఆధారముగా నుండును.
