1 And Joseph put his head down on his father's face, weeping and kissing him.యోసేపు తన తండ్రి ముఖముమీద పడి అతని గూర్చి యేడ్చి అతని ముద్దుపెట్టుకొనెను.

2 And Joseph gave orders to his servants who had the necessary knowledge, to make his father's body ready, folding it in linen with spices, and they did so.తరువాత యోసేపు సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో తన తండ్రి శవమును సిద్ధపరచవలెనని తన దాసులైన వైద్యులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను గనుక ఆ వైద్యులు ఇశ్రాయేలును సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో సిద్ధపరచిరి.

3 And the forty days needed for making the body ready went by: and there was weeping for him among the Egyptians for seventy days.సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో సిద్ధపరచబడువారి కొరకు దినములు సంపూర్ణమగునట్లు అతనికొరకు నలుబది దినములు సంపూర్ణమాయెను. అతనిగూర్చి ఐగుప్తీయులు డెబ్బది దినములు అంగలార్చిరి.

4 And when the days of weeping for him were past, Joseph said to the servants of Pharaoh, If now you have love for me, say these words to Pharaoh:అతనిగూర్చిన అంగ లార్పు దినములు గడచిన తరువాత యోసేపు ఫరో యింటి వారితో మాటలాడిమీ కటాక్షము నామీద నున్నయెడల మీరు అనుగ్రహించి నా మనవి ఫరో చెవిని వేసిఒ

5 My father made me take an oath, saying, When I am dead, put me to rest in the place I have made ready for myself in the land of Canaan. So now let me go and put my father in his last resting-place, and I will come back again.నా తండ్రి నాచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించిఇదిగో నేను చనిపోవుచున్నాను, కనానులో నా నిమిత్తము సమాధి త్రవ్వించితిని గదా, అందులోనే నన్ను పాతిపెట్ట వలెనని చెప్పెను. కాబట్టి సెలవైతే నేనక్కడికి వెళ్లి నా తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టి మరల వచ్చెదనని చెప్పుడనెను.

6 And Pharaoh said, Go up and put your father to rest, as you gave your oath to him.అందుకు ఫరో అతడు నీచేత చేయించిన ప్రమాణము చొప్పున వెళ్లి నీ తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుమని సెలవిచ్చెను.

7 So Joseph went up to put his father in his last resting-place; and with him went all the servants of Pharaoh, and the chief men of his house and all the chiefs of the land of Egypt,కాబట్టి యోసేపు తన తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుటకు పోయెను; అతనితో ఫరో యింటి పెద్దలైన అతని సేవకులందరును ఐగుప్తు దేశపు పెద్దలందరును

8 And all the family of Joseph, and his brothers and his father's people: only their little ones and their flocks and herds they did not take with them from the land of Goshen.యోసేపు యింటివారంద రును అతని సహోదరులును అతని తండ్రి ఇంటివారును వెళ్లిరి. వారు తమ పిల్లలను తమ గొఱ్ఱల మందలను తమ పశువులను మాత్రము గోషెను దేశములో విడిచిపెట్టిరి.

9 And carriages went up with him and horsemen, a great army.మరియు రథములును రౌతులును అతనితో వెళ్లినందున ఆ సమూహము బహు విస్తార మాయెను.

10 And they came to the grain-floor of Atad on the other side of Jordan, and there they gave the last honours to Jacob, with great and bitter sorrow, weeping for their father for seven days.యెర్దానునకు అవతలనున్న ఆఠదు కళ్లమునొద్దకు చేరి అక్కడ బహు ఘోరముగా అంగలార్చిరి. అతడు తన తండ్రినిగూర్చి యేడు దినములు దుఃఖము సలిపెను.

11 And when the people of the land, the people of Canaan, at the grain-floor of Atad, saw their grief, they said, Great is the grief of the Egyptians: so the place was named Abel-mizraim, on the other side of Jordan.ఆ దేశమందు నివసించిన కనానీయులు ఆఠదు కళ్లము నొద్ద ఆ దుఃఖము సలుపుట చూచిఐగుప్తీయులకు ఇది మిక్కటమైన దుఃఖమని చెప్పుకొనిరి గనుక దానికి ఆబేల్‌ మిస్రాయిము అను పేరు పెట్టబడెను, అది యొర్దానునకు అవతల నున్నది.

12 So his sons did as he had given them orders to do:అతని కుమారులు తన విషయమై అతడు వారి కాజ్ఞాపించి నట్లు చేసిరి.

13 For they took him into the land of Canaan and put him to rest in the hollow rock in the field of Machpelah, which Abraham got with the field, for a resting-place, from Ephron the Hittite at Mamre.అతని కుమారులు కనాను దేశమునకు అతని శవమును తీసి కొనిపోయి మక్పేలా పొలమందున్న గుహలో పాతి పెట్టిరి. దానిని ఆ పొలమును అబ్రాహాము తనకు శ్మశా నముకొరకు స్వాస్థ్యముగానుండు ని

14 And when his father had been put to rest, Joseph and his brothers and all who had gone with him, went back to Egypt.యోసేపు తన తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టిన తరువాత అతడును అతని సహోదరులును అతని తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్ట వెళ్లిన వారందరును తిరిగి ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

15 Now after the death of their father, Joseph's brothers said to themselves, It may be that Joseph's heart will be turned against us, and he will give us punishment for all the evil which we did to him.యోసేపు సహోదరులు తమ తండ్రి మృతిపొందుట చూచి ఒకవేళ యోసేపు మనయందు పగపట్టి మన మత నికి చేసిన కీడంతటి చొప్పున మనకు నిశ్చయముగా కీడు జరిగించుననుకొని

16 So they sent word to Joseph, saying, Your father, before his death, gave us orders, saying,యోసేపునకు ఈలాగు వర్తమాన మంపిరి

17 You are to say to Joseph, Let the wrongdoing of your brothers be overlooked, and the evil they did to you: now, if it is your pleasure, let the sin of the servants of your father's God have forgiveness. And at these words, Joseph was overcome with weeping.నీ తండ్రి తాను చావక మునుపు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన దేమనగామీరు యోసేపుతో నీ సహోదరులు నీకు కీడు చేసిరి గనుక దయచేసి వారి అపరాధమును వారి పాపమును క్షమించుమని అతనితో

18 Then his brothers went, and falling at his feet, said, Truly, we are your servants.మరియు అతని సహోదరులు పోయి అతని యెదుట సాగిలపడిఇదిగో మేము నీకు దాసులమని చెప్పగా

19 And Joseph said, Have no fear: am I in the place of God?యోసేపుభయపడకుడి, నేను దేవుని స్థానమం దున్నానా?

20 As for you, it was in your mind to do me evil, but God has given a happy outcome, the salvation of numbers of people, as you see today.మీరు నాకు కీడుచేయ నుద్దేశించితిరి గాని నేటిదినమున జరుగుచున్నట్లు, అనగా బహు ప్రజలను బ్రదికించునట్లుగా అది మేలుకే దేవుడు ఉద్దేశించెను.

21 So now, have no fear: for I will take care of you and your little ones. So he gave them comfort with kind words.కాబట్టి భయపడకుడి, నేను మిమ్మును మీ పిల్లలను పోషించెదనని చెప్పి వారిని ఆదరించి వారితో ప్రీతిగా మాటలాడెను.

22 Now Joseph and all his father's family went on living in Egypt: and the years of Joseph's life were a hundred and ten.యోసేపు అతని తండ్రి కుటుంబపువారును ఐగుప్తులో నివసించిరి, యోసేపు నూటపది సంవత్సరములు బ్రదికెను.

23 And Joseph saw Ephraim's children of the third generation: and the children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, came to birth on Joseph's knees.యోసేపు ఎఫ్రాయిముయొక్క మూడవతరము పిల్లలను చూచెను; మరియు మనష్షే కుమారుడైన మాకీరు నకు కుమారులు పుట్టి యోసేపు ఒడిలో ఉంచబడిరి.

24 Then Joseph said to his brothers, The time of my death has come; but God will keep you in mind and take you out of this land into the land which he gave by his oath to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob.యోసేపు తన సహోదరులను చూచినేను చనిపోవు చున్నాను; దేవుడు నిశ్చయముగా మిమ్మును చూడవచ్చి, యీ దేశములోనుండి తాను అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో ప్రమాణము చేసియిచ్చిన దేశమునకు మిమ్మును తీసికొని పోవునని చెప్పెను

25 Then Joseph made the children of Israel take an oath, saying, God will certainly give effect to his word, and you are to take my bones away from here.మరియు యోసేపు దేవుడు నిశ్చయముగా మిమ్మును చూడవచ్చును; అప్పుడు మీరు నా యెముకలను ఇక్కడనుండి తీసికొని పోవలెనని చెప్పి ఇశ్రాయేలు కుమారులచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించు కొనెను.

26 So Joseph came to his death, being a hundred and ten years old: and they made his body ready, and he was put in a chest in Egypt.యోసేపు నూటపది సంవత్సరములవాడై మృతి పొందెను. వారు సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో అతని శవమును సిద్ధపరచి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఒక పెట్టెలో ఉంచిరి.
