అంతట యూదావంశస్థులకును బెన్యామీనీయులకును విరోధులైనవారు, చెరనివారణ యయినవారు ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ఆలయమును కట్టుచున్న సంగతి విని

మొదటి నెల మొదటి దినమందు అతడు బబులోను దేశమునుండి బయలుదేరి, తన దేవుని కరుణాహస్తము తనకు తోడుగానున్నందున అయిదవ నెల మొదటి దినమున యెరూషలేమునకు చేరెను.

చెరలోనుండి విడుదలనొందినవారు మొదటి నెల పదునాలుగవ దినమున పస్కాపండుగ ఆచరించిరి.

అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును యాజకులును లేవీయులును చెరలోనుండి విడుదలనొందిన తక్కినవారును దేవుని మందిరమును ఆనందముతో ప్రతిష్ఠించిరి.

అర్తహషస్తయొక్క దినములలో బిష్లామును మిత్రి దాతును టాబెయేలును వారి పక్షముగానున్న తక్కిన వారును పారసీకదేశపు రాజైన అర్తహషస్తకు ఉత్తరము వ్రాసిపంపిరి. ఆ యుత్తరము సిరియాభాషలో వ్రాయబడి సిరియాభాషలోనే తాత్పర్యము చేయబడినది.
