​తిరుగుబాటుచేయు ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులకు ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుముప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగాఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, యిదివరకు మీరు చేసిన హేయక్రియలన్ని చాలును.

அவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோடவும், அவர்கள் கைகளையும் கால்களையும் வெட்டி, எப்ரோனிலிருக்கிற குளத்தின் அருகில் தூக்கிப்போடவும் தன்னுடைய வீரர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டான். இஸ்போசேத்தின் தலையை எடுத்து, எப்ரோனிலிருக்கிற அப்னேரின் கல்லறையில் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்.

எனவே ரேகாபையும் பானாவையும் கொல்லும்படி தனது இளம் வீரர்களுக்கு தாவீது கட்டளையிட்டான். அந்த இளம் வீரர்கள் ரேகாப், பானா ஆகியோரின் கைகளையும் கால்களையும் வெட்டி எப்ரோன் குளத்தருகே தொங்கவிட்டார்கள். பின் அவர்கள் இஸ்போசேத்தின் தலையை எடுத்து எப்ரோனில் அப்னேர் புதைக்கப்பட்ட இடத்திலேயே புதைத்தார்கள்.
