Exodus 12:8
ఆ రాత్రియే వారు అగ్నిచేత కాల్చబడిన ఆ మాంసమును పొంగని రొట్టెలను తినవలెను. చేదుకూరలతో దాని తినవలెను

| in that | בַּלַּ֣יְלָה | ballaylâ | ba-LA-la |
| night, | הַזֶּ֑ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| roast | צְלִי | ṣĕlî | tseh-LEE |
| fire, with | אֵ֣שׁ | ʾēš | aysh |
| and unleavened bread; | וּמַצּ֔וֹת | ûmaṣṣôt | oo-MA-tsote |
| and with | עַל | ʿal | al |
| bitter | מְרֹרִ֖ים | mĕrōrîm | meh-roh-REEM |
| herbs they shall eat | יֹֽאכְלֻֽהוּ׃ | yōʾkĕluhû | YOH-heh-LOO-hoo |
