Genesis 31:19
లాబాను తన గొఱ్ఱలబొచ్చు కత్తిరించుటకు వెళ్లియుండగా రాహేలు తన తండ్రి యింటనున్న గృహ దేవతలను దొంగిలెను.

ఎవరియొద్ద నీ దేవతలు కనబడునో వారు బ్రదుకకూడదు. నీవు నా యొద్దనున్న వాటిని మన బంధువుల యెదుట వెదకి నీ దానిని తీసికొనుమని లాబానుతో చెప్పెను. రాహేలు వాటిని దొంగిలెనని యాకోబునకు తెలియలేదు.
