ఇస్సాకు తల్లియైన శారా గుడారములోనికి ఆమెను తీసికొని పోయెను. అట్లు అతడు రిబ్కాను పరిగ్రహింపగా ఆమె అతనికి భార్య ఆయెను; అతడు ఆమెను ప్రేమించెను. అప్పుడు ఇస్సాకు తన తల్లి విషయమై దుఃఖనివారణపొందెను.
