1 Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Gird up your loins, and take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.అంతట ప్రవక్తయగు ఎలీషా ప్రవక్తల శిష్యులలో ఒకనిని పిలువనంపించి అతనితో ఇట్లనెనునీవు నడుము బిగించుకొని యీ తైలపుగిన్నె చేత పట్టుకొని రామో త్గిలాదునకు పోయి

2 When you come there, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brothers, and carry him to an inner chamber.అచ్చట ప్రవేశించినప్పుడు నింషీకి పుట్టిన యెహోషాపాతు కుమారుడైన యెహూ యెక్కడ నున్నాడని తెలిసికొని అతనిని దర్శించి, అతని సహోదరుల మధ్యనుండి అతనిని చాటుగా రప్పించి, లోపలి గదిలోకి అతనిని పిలుచుకొని పోయి

3 Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus says Yahweh, I have anointed you king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and don't wait.​తైలపుగిన్నె తీసికొని అతని తలమీద తైలము పోసినేను నిన్ను ఇశ్రాయేలుమీద పట్టాభిషిక్తునిగా చేసితినని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని అతనితో చెప్పి, ఆలస్యము చేయక తలుపుతీసి పారి పొమ్ము.

4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.​¸°వనుడైన ఆ ప్రవక్త పోవలెనని బయలుదేరి రామోత్గిలాదునకు వచ్చునప్పటికి సైన్యాధిపతులు కూర్చుని యుండిరి.

5 When he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to you, captain. Jehu said, To which of us all? He said, To you, O captain.​అప్పుడతడు అధిపతీ, నీకొక సమాచారము తెచ్చితినని చెప్పగా యెహూయిందరిలో అది ఎవరిని గూర్చినదని అడుగగా అతడు అధిపతీ నిన్ను గూర్చినదే యనెను; అందుకు యెహూ లేచి యింటిలో ప్రవేశిం చెను.

6 He arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of Yahweh, even over Israel.​అప్పుడు ఆ ¸°వనుడు అతని తలమీద తైలము పోసి అతనితో ఇట్లనెనుఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగాయెహోవా జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలు వారిమీద నేను నిన్ను పట్టాభిషిక్తునిగా చేయుచున్నాను.

7 You shall strike the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of Yahweh, at the hand of Jezebel.​కాబట్టి నా సేవకులైన ప్రవక్తలను హతము చేసినదానిని బట్టియు, యెహోవా సేవకులందరిని హతము చేసిన దానిని బట్టియు,యెజెబెలునకు ప్రతికారము చేయునట్లు నీవు నీ యజమానుడైన అహాబు సంతతివారిని హతముచేయుము.

8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish; and I will cut off from Ahab every man-child, and him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.​అహాబు సంతతివారందరును నశింతురు; అల్పులలోనేమి ఘనులలోనేమి అహాబు సంతతిలో ఏ పురుషుడును ఉండ కుండ అందరిని నిర్మూలము చేయుము.

9 I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.​నెబాతు కుమారు డైన యరొబాము కుటుంబికులను అహీయా కుమారుడైన బయెషా కుటుంబికులను నేను అప్పగించినట్లు అహాబు కుటుంబికులను నేను అప్పగించుదును.

10 The dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. He opened the door, and fled.​​యెజెబెలు పాతి పెట్టబడక యెజ్రెయేలు భూభాగమందు కుక్కలచేత తినివేయబడును. ఆ ¸°వనుడు ఈ మాటలు చెప్పి తలుపుతీసి పారిపోయెను.

11 Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said to him, Is all well? why came this mad fellow to you? He said to them, You know the man and what his talk was.​యెహూ బయలుదేరి తన యజమానుని సేవకులయొద్దకు రాగా ఒకడుఏమి సంభ వించినది? ఆ వెఱ్ఱివాడు నీయొద్దకు వచ్చిన హేతువేమని అతని నడుగగా, అతడువానిని వాని మాటలు మీరెరిగెయున్నారని చెప్పెను.

12 They said, It is false; tell us now. He said, Thus and thus spoke he to me, saying, Thus says Yahweh, I have anointed you king over Israel.​​కాబట్టి వారు అదంతయు వట్టిది; జరిగినదానిని మాకు తెలియజెప్పుమనగా అతడిట్లనెనునేను నిన్ను ఇశ్రాయేలుమీద పట్టాభిషిక్తునిగా చేయు చున్నానని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని అతడు నాతో చెప్పెను.

13 Then they hurried, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, Jehu is king.అంతట వారు అతివేగిరముగా తమ తమ వస్త్రములను పట్టుకొని మెట్లమీద అతని క్రింద పరచి బాకా ఊదించియెహూ రాజైయున్నాడని చాటించిరి.

14 So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram was keeping Ramoth-gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria;ఈ ప్రకారము నింషీకి పుట్టిన యెహోషాపాతు కుమారుడైన యెహూ యెహోరాముమీద కుట్రచేసెను. అప్పుడు యెహోరామును ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును సిరియా రాజైన హజాయేలును ఎదిరించుటకై రామో త్గిలాదు దగ్గర కావలి యుండిరి.

15 but king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) Jehu said, If this be your mind, then let none escape and go forth out of the city, to go to tell it in Jezreel.​అయితే యెహోరాము సిరియా రాజైన హజాయేలుతో యుద్ధము చేయుచుండగా సిరియనులవలన తాను పొందిన గాయములను బాగు చేసి కొనుటకై యెజ్రెయేలు ఊరికి తిరిగి వచ్చియుండెను. అంతట యెహూనీకనుకూలమైతే ఈ సంగతి తెలియ బడకుండునట్లు ఈ పట్టణములోనుండి యెవనినైనను యెజ్రెయేలు ఊరికి తప్పించుకొని పోనియ్యకుమని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి

16 So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. Ahaziah king of Judah was come down to see Joram.​​రథముయెక్కి, యెజ్రెయేలు ఊరిలో యెహో రాము మంచము పట్టియుండగా అచ్చటికి పోయెను మరియు యూదా రాజైన అహజ్యా యెహోరామును దర్శించుటకై అచ్చటికి వచ్చి యుండెను.

17 Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. Joram said, Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?​యెజ్రెయేలు గోపురముమీద కావలివాడు నిలిచి యుండి, యెహూతో కలిసి వచ్చుచున్న సైన్యమును చూచిసైన్యమొకటి నాకు కనబడుచున్నదని తెలియజెప్పగా యెహోరాము ఒక రౌతును పిలిచివారిని ఎదుర్కొనబోయిసమా ధానముగా వచ్చుచున్నారా అని అడుగుమని చెప్పి, పంపుమని వానితో సెలవిచ్చెను.

18 So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? turn you behind me. The watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he isn't coming back.​కాబట్టి యొకడు గుఱ్ఱ మెక్కిపోయి అతనిని ఎదుర్కొనిసమాధానముగా వచ్చుచున్నారా? అని అడుగుమని రాజు నన్ను పంపెననగా యెహూసమాధానముతో నీకేమి పని? నీవు నా వెనుకకు తిరిగిరమ్మని వానితో చెప్పగా ఆ కావలివాడుపంపబడినవాడు వారిని కలిసికొనెను గాని తిరిగి రాక నిలిచెనని సమాచారము తెలిపెను.

19 Then he sent out a second on horseback, who came to them, and said, Thus says the king, Is it peace? Jehu answered, What have you to do with peace? turn you behind me.​రాజు రెండవ రౌతును పంపగా వాడు వారియొద్దకు వచ్చిసమాధానముగా వచ్చుచున్నారా? అని అడుగుమని రాజు నన్ను పంపెననగా యెహూసమధానముతో నీకేమి పని? నా వెనుకకు తిరిగి రమ్మని వానితో చెప్పెను.

20 The watchman told, saying, He came even to them, and isn't coming back: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he drives furiously.​అప్పుడు కావలి వాడువీడును వారిని కలిసికొని తిరిగిరాక నిలిచెను మరియు అతడు వెఱ్ఱి తోలడము తోలుచున్నాడు గనుక అది నింషీకుమారుడైన యెహూ తోలడమువలెనే యున్న దనెను.

21 Joram said, Make ready. They made ready his chariot. Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.​రథము సిద్ధము చేయుమని యెహోరాము సెల వియ్యగా వారు అతని రథము సిద్ధముచేసిరి. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజైన యెహోరామును యూదారాజైన అహజ్యాయును తమ తమ రథములనెక్కి యెహూను కలియబోయి యెజ్రెయేలీయుడైన నాబోతు భూభాగమందు అతనిని ఎదుర్కొనిరి.

22 It happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? He answered, What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?​అంతట యెహోరాముయెహూను చూచియెహూ సమాధానమా? అని అడు గగా యెహూనీ తల్లియైన యెజెబెలు జారత్వములును చిల్లంగి తనములును ఇంత యపరిమితమై యుండగా సమా ధాన మెక్కడనుండి వచ్చుననెను.

23 Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, Ahaziah.​యెహోరాము రథము త్రిప్పి అహజ్యా, ద్రోహము జరుగుచున్నదని అహజ్యాతో చెప్పి పారిపోయెను.

24 Jehu drew his bow with his full strength, and struck Joram between his arms; and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.​అప్పుడు యెహూ తన బలముకొలది విల్లు ఎక్కు పెట్టి యెహోరామును భుజ ములమధ్య కొట్టగా బాణము అతని గుండెగుండ దూసి పోయెను గనుక అతడు తన రథమునందే యొరిగెను.

25 Then said [Jehu] to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember how that, when I and you rode together after Ahab his father, Yahweh laid this burden on him:​కాగా యెహూ తన అధిపతియైన బిద్కరును పిలిచి యిట్లనెను అతని ఎత్తి యెజ్రెయేలీయుడైన నాబోతు భూభాగమందు పడవేయుము; మనమిద్దరమును అతని తండ్రియైన అహాబు వెనుక గుఱ్ఱములెక్కి వచ్చినప్పుడు యెహోవా అతనిమీద ఈ శిక్షమోపిన సంగతి జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము.

26 Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, says Yahweh; and I will requite you in this plat, says Yahweh. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat [of ground], according to the word of Yahweh.అప్పుడు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగా నిశ్చయముగా నాబోతు రక్తమును వాని కుమారుల రక్తమును నిన్నటి దినమున నేను చూచితిని గనుక ఈ భూభాగమందు నేను దానికి ప్రతికారము చేయుదును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. కాబట్టి నీవు యెహోవా మాట చొప్పున అతని ఎత్తి యీ భూభాగమందు పడవేయుము అనెను.

27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden-house. Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot: [and they struck him] at the ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. He fled to Megiddo, and died there.యూదారాజైన అహజ్యా జరిగిన దాని చూచి వనములోని నగరి మార్గముగా పారిపోయెను; అయినను యెహూ అతని తరిమి, రథమునందు అతని హతముచేయుడని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను గనుక వారు ఇబ్లెయాము దగ్గరనున్న గూరునకు పోవు మార్గమందు అతని కొట్టగా అతడు మెగిద్దోకు పారిపోయి అచ్చట మరణమాయెను.

28 His servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the city of David.అప్పుడు అతని సేవకులు అతనిని రథముమీద వేసి యెరూషలేమునకు తీసికొని పోయి దావీదు పురమందు అతని పితరుల సమా ధిలో అతని పాతిపెట్టిరి.

29 In the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.అహజ్యా అహాబు కుమారుడైన యెహోరాము ఏలు బడిలో పదకొండవ సంవత్సరమందు యూదాను ఏల నారంభించెను.

30 When Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her eyes, and attired her head, and looked out at the window.యెహూ యెజ్రెయేలు ఊరికి వచ్చిన సంగతి యెజె బెలునకు వినబడెను గనుక ఆమె తన ముఖమునకు రంగు పూసికొని శిరోభూషణములు ధరించుకొని కిటికీలోనుండి కనిపెట్టి చూచుచుండగా

31 As Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Is it peace, you Zimri, your master's murderer?యెహూ గుమ్మముద్వారా ప్రవేశించెను. ఆమె అతనిని చూచినీ యజమానుని చంపినవాడా, జిమీ వంటివాడా, నీవు సమాధానముగా వచ్చుచున్నావా అని అడుగగా

32 He lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? There looked out to him two or three eunuchs.​అతడు తలయెత్తి కిటికీ తట్టు చూచినా పక్షమందున్న వారెవరని అడుగగా ఇద్దరు ముగ్గురు పరిచారకులు పైనుండి తొంగిచూచిరి.

33 He said, Throw her down. So they threw her down; and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trod her under foot.దీనిని క్రింద పడద్రోయుడని అతడు చెప్పగా వారు దానిని క్రిందికి పడద్రోసినందున దాని రక్తములో కొంత గోడమీదను గుఱ్ఱములమీదను చిందెను. మరియు గుఱ్ఱ ములచేత అతడు దానిని త్రొక్కించెను.

34 When he was come in, he ate and drink; and he said, See now to this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king's daughter.​అతడు లోపల ప్రవేశించి అన్నపానములు చేసిన తరువాతఆ శాపగ్రస్తు రాలు రాజకుమార్తె గనుక మీరు వెళ్లి దానిని కనుగొనిపాతిపెట్టుడని ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగా

35 They went to bury her; but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.వారు దానిని పాతిపెట్ట బోయిరి; అయితే దాని కపాలమును పాదములును అర చేతులును తప్ప మరి ఏమియు కనబడలేదు.

36 Therefore they came back, and told him. He said, This is the word of Yahweh, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall the dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel;వారు తిరిగి వచ్చి అతనితో ఆ సంగతి తెలియజెప్పగా అతడిట్లనెనుఇది యెజెబెలని యెవరును గుర్తుపట్టలేకుండ యెజ్రెయేలు భూభాగమందు కుక్కలు యెజెబెలు మాంసమును తినును.

37 and the body of Jezebel shall be as dung on the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel, so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.యెజెబెలుయొక్క కళేబరము యెజ్రెయేలు భూభాగ మందున్న పెంటవలె నుండును అని తన సేవకుడును తిష్బీ యుడునగు ఏలీయాద్వారా యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాట చొప్పున యిది జరిగెను.
