రాజైన రెహబాము యెరూషలేమునందు స్థిరపడి యేలుబడి చేసెను; రెహబాము ఏలనారంభించినప్పుడు నలుబదియొక సంవత్సరముల యీడుగల వాడై యుండెను; తన నామమును అచ్చట ఉంచుటకై ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములన్నిటిలోనుండి యెహోవా కోరుకొనిన పట్టణమగు యెరూషలేమునందు అతడు పదునేడు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను, అతని తల్లి పేరు నయమా, ఆమె అమ్మో నీయురాలు.
