ఈ కార్యము నావలన జరుగుచున్నదని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు గనుక, బయలుదేరకుండను మీ సహో దరులతో యుద్ధము చేయకుండను మీరందరును మీ మీ యిండ్లకు తిరిగి పోవుడి అని చెప్పెను. కావున వారు యెహోవా మాటలు విని యరొబాముతో యుద్ధము చేయుట మాని వెళ్లిపోయిరి.
