சகரியா 11:17
மந்தையைக் கைவிடுகிற அபத்தமான மேய்ப்பனுக்கு ஐயோ! பட்டயம் அவன் புயத்தின்மேலும் அவன் வலதுகண்ணின்மேலும் வரும்; அவன் புயமுழுதும் சூம்பிப்போம்; அவன் வலதுகண் முற்றிலும் இருள் அடையும் என்றார்.

மந்தையைக் கைவிடுகிற பொய்யான மேய்ப்பனுக்கு ஐயோ! பட்டயம் அவன் புயத்தின்மேலும் அவன் வலது கண்ணின்மேலும் வரும்; அவன் புயம் முழுவதும் சூம்பிப்போகும்; அவன் வலது கண் முற்றிலும் இருள் அடையும் என்றார்.

ஓ! எனது பயனற்ற மேய்ப்பனே, நீ என் மந்தையைக் கைவிட்டாய். அவனைத் தண்டித்துவிடு. அவனது வலது கண்ணையும், கையையும் வாளால் வெட்டு. அவனது வலது கை பயனற்றுப்போகும். அவனது வலது கண் குருடாகும்.

Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

American Standard Version (ASV)
Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

shepherd רֹעִ֤י rōʿî roh-EE
to the idol הָֽאֱלִיל֙ ʾĕlîl ay-LEEL
that leaveth עֹזְבִ֣י ʿāzab ah-ZAHV
the flock! הַצֹּ֔אן ṣōn tsone
the sword חֶ֥רֶב ḥereb heh-REV
upon עַל ʿal al
his arm, זְרוֹע֖וֹ zĕrôaʿ zeh-ROH-ah
and upon וְעַל ʿal al
eye: עֵ֣ין ʿayin ah-YEEN
his right יְמִינ֑וֹ yāmîn ya-MEEN
his arm זְרֹעוֹ֙ zĕrôaʿ zeh-ROH-ah
shall be clean יָב֣וֹשׁ yābēš ya-VAYSH
