அதுவுமல்லாமல், ஆவியின் முதற்பலன்களைப் பெற்ற நாமுங்கூட நம்முடைய சரீரமீட்பாகிய புத்திரசுவிகாரம் வருகிறதற்குக் காத்திருந்து, நமக்குள்ளே தவிக்கிறோம்.

உலகம் மட்டுமல்ல. நாமும் உள்ளுக்குள் வேதனையோடு காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். தேவனுடைய வாக்குறுதியினுடைய முதல் பாகம் போல் நாம் ஆவியின் முதல் பலனைப் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம். நம்மை தேவன் தமது பிள்ளைகளாக்குவார் என்று நாமும் எதிர்பார்க்கிறோம். அதாவது நாம் நமது சரீரத்தின் விடுதலைக்காக எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்.

படைப்பு மட்டும் அல்ல; முதல் கொடையாகத் தூய ஆவியைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்டுள்ள நாமும் கடவுள் நம்மைத் தம் பிள்ளைகளாக்கப்போகும் நாளை, அதாவது நம் உடலை விடுவிக்கும் நாளை எதிர்நோக்கிப் பெருமூச்சு விடுகிறோம்.
