சங்கீதம் 78:5
அவர் யாக்கோபிலே சாட்சியை ஏற்படுத்தி இஸ்ரவேலிலே வேதத்தை ஸ்தாபித்து அவைகளைத் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அறிவிக்கும்படி நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

அவர் யாக்கோபிலே சாட்சியை ஏற்படுத்தி, இஸ்ரவேலிலே வேதத்தை நிறுவி, அவைகளைத் தங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அறிவிக்கும்படி நம்முடைய முற்பிதாக்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபோடு ஒரு உடன்படிக்கையைச் செய்தார். தேவன் இஸ்ரவேலருக்குச் சட்டத்தை (நீதிமுறையை) கொடுத்தார். நம் முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு தேவன் கட்டளைகளை அளித்தார். தமது பின் சந்ததியினருக்கு அந்தச் சட்டங்களைப் போதிக்குமாறு அவர் நம் முற்பிதாக்களுக்குக் கூறினார்.
