சங்கீதம் 69
1 தேவனே, என்னை இரட்சியும்; வெள்ளங்கள் என் ஆத்துமாமட்டும் பெருகிவருகிறது.
2 ஆழமான உளையில் அமிழ்ந்திருக்கிறேன், நிற்க நிலையில்லை, நிலையாத ஜலத்தில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கிறேன்; வெள்ளங்கள் என்மேல் புரண்டுபோகிறது.
3 நான் கூப்பிடுகிறதினால் இளைத்தேன்; என் தொண்டை வறண்டுபோயிற்று; என் தேவனுக்கு நான் காத்திருக்கையால், என் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போயிற்று.
4 நிமித்தமில்லாமல் என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் என் தலைமயிரிலும் அதிகமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; வீணாக எனக்குச் சத்துருக்களாகி என்னைச் சங்கரிக்கவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறவர்கள் பலத்திருக்கிறார்கள்; நான் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாததை நான் கொடுக்கவேண்டியதாயிற்று.
5 தேவனே, நீர் என் புத்தியீனத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் குற்றங்கள் உமக்கு மறைந்திருக்கவில்லை.
6 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, உமக்காகக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதிருப்பார்களாக; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் நாணமடையாதிருப்பார்களாக.
7 உமதுநிமித்தம் நிந்தையைச் சகித்தேன்; இலச்சை என் முகத்தை மூடிற்று.
8 என் சகோதரருக்கு வேற்று மனுஷனும், என் தாயின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அந்நியனுமானேன்.
9 உம்முடைய வீட்டைக்குறித்து உண்டான பக்திவைராக்கியம் என்னைப் படசித்தது; உம்மை நிந்திக்கிறவர்களுடைய நிந்தனைகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது.
10 என் ஆத்துமா வாடும்படி உபவாசித்து அழுதேன்; அதுவும் எனக்கு நிந்தையாய் முடிந்தது.
11 இரட்டை என் உடுப்பாக்கினேன்; அப்பொழுதும் அவர்களுக்கு பழமொழியானேன்.
12 வாசலில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; மதுபானம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களின் பாடலானேன்.
13 ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, அநுக்கிரக காலத்திலே உம்மை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பஞ் செய்கிறேன்; தேவனே உமது மிகுந்த கிருபையினாலும் உமது இரட்சிப்பின் சத்தியத்தினாலும் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும்.
14 நான் அமிழ்ந்திப்போகாதபடிக்குச் சேற்றினின்று என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடும்; என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களினின்றும் நிலையாத ஜலத்தினின்றும் நான் நீங்கும்படி செய்யும்.
15 ஜலப்பிரவாகங்கள் என்மேல் புரளாமலும், ஆழம் என்னை விழுங்காமலும், பாதாளம் என்மேல் தன் வாயை அடைத்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பதாக.
16 கர்த்தாவே, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டருளும், உம்முடைய தயை நலமாயிருக்கிறது; உமது உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களின்படி என்னைக் கடாட்சித்தருளும்.
17 உமது முகத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்கு மறையாதேயும்; நான் வியாகுலப்படுகிறேன், எனக்குத் தீவிரமாய்ச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும்.
18 நீர் என் ஆத்துமாவினிடத்தில் வந்து அதை விடுதலைபண்ணும்; என் சத்துருக்களினிமித்தம் என்னை மீட்டுவிடும்.
19 தேவரீர் என் நிந்தையையும் என் வெட்கத்தையும் என் அவமானத்தையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் சத்துருக்கள் எல்லாரும் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.
20 நிந்தை என் இருதயத்தைப் பிளந்தது; நான் மிகவும் வேதனைப்படுகிறேன்; எனக்காக பரிதபிக்கிறவனுண்டோ என்று காத்திருந்தேன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை; தேற்றுகிறவர்களுக்குக் காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனையும் காணேன்.
21 என் ஆகாரத்தில் கசப்புக் கலந்து கொடுத்தார்கள், என் தாகத்துக்குக் காடியைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தார்கள்.
22 அவர்களுடைய பந்தி அவர்களுக்குக் கண்ணியும், அவர்களுடைய செல்வம் அவர்களுக்கு வலையுமாயிருக்கக்கடவது.
23 அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் காணாதபடி அந்தகாரப்படக்கடவது; அவர்கள் இடுப்புகளை எப்போதும் தள்ளாடப்பண்ணும்.
24 உம்முடைய உக்கிரத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றும்; உம்முடைய கோபாக்கினி அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து பிடிப்பதாக.
25 அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலம் பாழாகக்கடவது; அவர்களுடைய கூடாரங்களில் குடியில்லாமற்போவதாக.
26 தேவரீர் அடித்தவனை அவர்கள் துன்பப்படுத்தி, நீர் காயப்படுத்தினவர்களை நோகப் பேசுகிறார்களே.
27 அக்கிரமத்தின்மேல் அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் சுமத்தும், அவர்கள் உமது நீதிக்கு வந்தெட்டாதிருப்பார்களாக.
28 ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்திலிருந்து அவர்கள்பேர் கிறுக்கப்பட்டுப்போவதாக; நீதிமான்கள் பேரோடே அவர்கள் பேர் எழுதப்படாதிருப்பதாக.
29 நானோ சிறுமையும் துயரமுமுள்ளவன்; தேவனே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பு எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமாவதாக.
30 தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பாட்டினால் துதித்து, அவரை ஸ்தோத்திரத்தினால் மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன்.
31 கொம்பும் விரிகுளம்புமுள்ள காளையெருதைப்பார்க்கிலும், இதுவே கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்கும்.
32 சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் இதைக்கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்; தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவர்களே, உங்கள் இருதயம் வாழும்.
33 கர்த்தர் எளியவர்களின் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்கிறார், கட்டுண்ட தம்முடையவர்களை அவர் புறக்கணியார்.
34 வானமும் பூமியும் சமுத்திரங்களும் அவைகளில் சஞ்சரிக்கிற யாவும் அவரைத் துதிக்கக்கடவது.
35 தேவன் சீயோனை இரட்சித்து, யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டுவார்; அப்பொழுது அங்கே குடியிருந்து அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.
1 Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
6 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.
9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
11 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
12 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
16 Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
17 And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
19 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31 This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
33 For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
34 Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
35 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.
Daniel 2 in Tamil and English
1 நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணும் இரண்டாம் வருஷத்திலே, நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் சொப்பனங்களைக் கண்டான்; அதினால், அவனுடைய ஆவி கலங்கி, அவனுடைய நித்திரை கலைந்தது.
And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.
2 அப்பொழுது ராஜா தன் சொப்பனங்களைத் தனக்குத் தெரிவிக்கும்பொருட்டு சாஸ்திரிகளையும் ஜோசியரையும் சூனியக்காரரையும் கல்தேயரையும் அழைக்கச்சொன்னான்; அவர்கள் வந்து, ராஜசமுகத்தில் நின்றார்கள்.
Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.
3 ராஜா அவர்களை நோக்கி: ஒரு சொப்பனம் கண்டேன்; அந்தச் சொப்பனத்தை அறியவேண்டுமென்று என் ஆவி கலங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றான்.
And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.
4 அப்பொழுது கல்தேயர் ராஜாவை நோக்கி: ராஜாவே, நீர் என்றும் வாழ்க; சொப்பனத்தை உமது அடியாருக்குச் சொல்லும், அப்பொழுது அதின் அர்த்தத்தை விடுவிப்போம் என்று சீரியபாஷையிலே சொன்னார்கள்.
Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation.
5 ராஜா கல்தேயருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: என்னிடத்திலிருந்து பிறக்கிற தீர்மானம் என்னவென்றால், நீங்கள் சொப்பனத்தையும் அதின் அர்த்தத்தையும் எனக்கு அறிவியாமற்போனால் துண்டித்துப்போடப்படுவீர்கள்; உங்கள் வீடுகள் எருக்களங்களாக்கப்படும்.
The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.
6 சொப்பனத்தையும் அதின் அர்த்தத்தையும் தெரிவித்தீர்களேயாகில், என்னிடத்தில் வெகுமதிகளையும் பரிசுகளையும் மிகுந்த கனத்தையும் பெறுவீர்கள்; ஆகையால் சொப்பனத்தையும் அதின் அர்த்தத்தையும் எனக்குத் தெரிவியுங்கள் என்றான்.
But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.
7 அவர்கள் மறுபடியும் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ராஜா அடியாருக்குச் சொப்பனத்தைச் சொல்வாராக; அப்பொழுது அதின் அர்த்தத்தை விடுவிப்போம் என்றார்கள்.
They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it.
8 அதற்கு ராஜா பிரதியுத்தரமாக என்னிடத்திலிருந்து தீர்மானம் பிறந்தபடியினாலே நீங்கள் காலதாமசம்பண்ணப்பார்க்கிறீர்களென்று நிச்சயமாக எனக்குத் தெரியவருகிறது.
The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.
9 காலம் மாறுமென்று நீங்கள் எனக்குமுன்பாக பொய்யும் புரட்டுமான விசேஷத்தைச் சொல்லும்படி எத்தனம்பண்ணி இருக்கிறீர்கள்; நீங்கள் சொப்பனத்தை எனக்குத் தெரிவிக்காமற்போனால், உங்கள் எல்லாருக்கும் இந்த ஒரே தீர்ப்பு பிறந்திருக்கிறது; ஆகையால் சொப்பனத்தை எனக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது அதின் அர்த்தத்தையும் உங்களால் காண்பிக்கக்கூடுமென்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுவேன் என்றான்.
But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.
10 கல்தேயர் ராஜசமுகத்தில் பிரதியுத்தரமாக; ராஜா கேட்கும் காரியத்தை அறிவிக்கத்தக்க மனுஷன் பூமியில் ஒருவனும் இல்லை; ஆகையால் மகத்துவமும் வல்லமையுமான எந்த ராஜாவும் இப்படிப்பட்ட காரியத்தை ஒரு சாஸ்திரியினிடத்திலாவது ஜோசியனிடத்திலாவது கல்தேயனிடத்திலாவது கேட்டதில்லை.
The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
11 ராஜா கேட்கிற காரியம் மிகவும் அருமையானது; மாம்சமாயிருக்கிறவர்களோடே வாசம்பண்ணாத தேவர்களேயொழிய ராஜசமுகத்தில் அதை அறிவிக்கத்தக்கவர் ஒருவரும் இல்லை என்றார்கள்.
And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
12 இதினிமித்தம் ராஜா மகா கோபமும் உக்கிரமுங்கொண்டு, பாபிலோனில் இருக்கிற எல்லா ஞானிகளையும் கொலைசெய்யும்படி கட்டளையிட்டான்.
For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.
13 அவர்களை கொலைசெய்யவேண்டுமென்ற கட்டளை வெளிப்பட்டபோது தானியேலையும் அவன் தோழரையும் கொலைசெய்யத் தேடினார்கள்.
And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.
14 பாபிலோனின் ஞானிகளைக் கொலைசெய்யப் புறப்பட்ட ராஜாவினுடைய தலையாரிகளுக்கு அதிபதியாகிய ஆரியோகோடே தானியேல் யோசனையும் புத்தியுமாய்ப் பேசி:
Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king’s guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon:
15 இந்தக் கட்டளை ராஜாவினால் இத்தனை அவசரமாய்ப் பிறந்ததற்குக் காரணம் என்ன என்று ராஜாவின் சேர்வைக்காரனாகிய ஆரியோகினிடத்தில் கேட்டான்; அப்பொழுது ஆரியோகு தானியேலுக்குக் காரியத்தை அறிவித்தான்.
He answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.
16 தானியேல் ராஜாவினிடத்தில்போய், சொப்பனத்தின் அர்த்தத்தை ராஜாவுக்குக் காண்பிக்கும்படித் தனக்குத் தவணை கொடுக்க விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணினான்.
Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.
17 பின்பு தானியேல் தன் வீட்டுக்குப்போய், தானும் தன் தோழரும் பாபிலோனின் மற்ற ஞானிகளோடேகூட அழியாதபடிக்கு இந்த மறைபொருளைக்குறித்துப் பரலோகத்தின் தேவனை நோக்கி, இரக்கம் கேட்கிறதற்காக,
Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:
18 அனனியா, மீஷாவேல், அசரியா என்னும் தன்னுடைய தோழருக்கு இந்தக் காரியத்தை அறிவித்தான்.
That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
19 பின்பு இராக்காலத்தில் தரிசனத்திலே தானியேலுக்கு மறைபொருள் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது தானியேல் பரலோகத்தின் தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரித்தான்.
Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
20 பின்பு தானியேல் சொன்னது: தேவனுடைய நாமத்துக்கு என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள சதாகாலங்களிலும் ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; ஞானமும் வல்லமையும் அவருக்கே உரியது.
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
21 அவர் காலங்களையும் சமயங்களையும் மாற்றுகிறவர்; ராஜாக்களைத் தள்ளி, ராஜாக்களை ஏற்படுத்துகிறவர்; ஞானிகளுக்கு ஞானத்தையும், அறிவாளிகளுக்கு அறிவையும் கொடுக்கிறவர்.
And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
22 அவரே ஆழமும் மறைபொருளுமானதை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறவர்; இருளிலிருக்கிறதை அவர் அறிவார்; வெளிச்சம் அவரிடத்தில் தங்கும்.
He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
23 என் பிதாக்களின் தேவனே, நீர் எனக்கு ஞானமும் வல்லமையும் கொடுத்து, நாங்கள் உம்மிடத்தில் வேண்டிக்கொண்டதை இப்பொழுது எனக்கு அறிவித்து, ராஜாவின் காரியத்தை எங்களுக்குத் தெரிவித்தபடியினால் உம்மைத் துதித்துப் புகழுகிறேன் என்றான்.
I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.
