Proverbs 9 - YLT (Tamil)

1 Wisdom hath builded her house, She hath hewn out her pillars -- seven.ஞானம் தன் வீட்டைக் கட்டி, தன் ஏழு தூண்களையும் சித்திரந்தீர்த்து,

2 She hath slaughtered her slaughter, She hath mingled her wine, Yea, she hath arranged her table.தன் கொழுத்த ஜந்துக்களை அடித்து, திராட்சரசத்தை வார்த்துவைத்து, தன் போஜனபந்தியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி,

3 She hath sent forth her damsels, She crieth on the tops of the high places of the city:தன் பணிவிடைக்காரிகளை அனுப்பி, பட்டணத்தின் உயர்ந்த மேடைகளின்மேல் நின்று கூப்பிட்டு,

4 `Who `is' simple? let him turn aside hither.' Whoso lacketh heart: she hath said to him,புத்தியீனனை நோக்கி: எவன் பேதையோ அவன் இவ்விடத்தில் வரக்கடவன்.

5 `Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine I have mingled.நீங்கள் வந்து என் அப்பத்தைப் புசித்து, நான் வார்த்த திராட்சரசத்தைப் பானம்பண்ணுங்கள்.

6 Forsake ye, the simple, and live, And be happy in the way of understanding.பேதைமையை விட்டு விலகுங்கள், அப்பொழுது பிழைத்திருப்பீர்கள்; புத்தியின் வழியிலே நடவுங்கள் என்று விளம்புகிறது.

7 The instructor of a scorner Is receiving for it -- shame, And a reprover of the wicked -- his blemish.பரியாசக்காரனைக் கண்டிக்கிறவன் இலச்சையடைகிறான்; துன்மார்க்கனைக் கண்டிக்கிறவன் தன்னைக் கறைப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.

8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee, Give reproof to the wise, and he loveth thee.பரியாசக்காரனைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளாதே, அவன் உன்னைப் பகைப்பான்; ஞானமுள்ளவனைக் கடிந்துகொள், அவன் உன்னை நேசிப்பான்.

9 Give to the wise, and he is wiser still, Make known to the righteous, And he increaseth learning.ஞானமுள்ளவனுக்குப் போதகம்பண்ணு, அவன் ஞானத்தில் தேறுவான்; நீதிமானுக்கு உபதேசம்பண்ணு, அவன் அறிவில் விருத்தியடைவான்.

10 The commencement of wisdom `is' the fear of Jehovah, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones `is' understanding.கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம்; பரிசுத்தரின் அறிவே அறிவு.

11 For by me do thy days multiply, And added to thee are years of life.என்னாலே உன் நாட்கள் பெருகும்; உன் ஆயுசின் வருஷங்கள் விருத்தியாகும்.

12 If thou hast been wise, thou hast been wise for thyself, And thou hast scorned -- thyself bearest `it'.நீ ஞானியானால் உனக்கென்று ஞானியாவாய்; நீ பரியாசக்காரனானால் நீயே அதின் பயனை அநுபவிப்பாய் என்றும் சொல்லுகிறது.

13 A foolish woman `is' noisy, Simple, and hath not known what.மதியற்ற ஸ்திரீ வாயாடியும், ஒன்றுமறியாத நிர்மூடமுமாயிருக்கிறாள்.

14 And she hath sat at the opening of her house, On a throne -- the high places of the city,அவள் தன் வீட்டுவாசற்படியிலும் பட்டணத்தின் மேடைகளிலும் ஆசனம்போட்டு உட்கார்ந்து,

15 To call to those passing by the way, Who are going straight `on' their paths.தங்கள் வழிகளை நோக்கி நேரே போகும் வழிப்போக்கரைப் பார்த்து:

16 `Who `is' simple? let him turn aside hither.' And whoso lacketh heart -- she said to him,எவன் பேதையோ அவன் இவ்விடத்தில் வரக்கடவன் என்றும்,

17 `Stolen waters are sweet, And hidden bread is pleasant.'மதியீனனை நோக்கி: திருட்டுத்தண்ணீர் தித்திக்கும், அந்தரங்கத்தில் புசிக்கும் அப்பம் இன்பமாயிருக்கும் என்றும் சொல்லிக் கூப்பிடுகிறாள்.

18 And he hath not known that Rephaim `are' there, In deep places of Sheol her invited ones!ஆயினும் மரித்தவர்கள் அவ்விடத்தில் உண்டென்றும், அவளுடைய விருந்தாளிகள் நரகபாதாளங்களில் கிடக்கிறார்களென்றும் அவன் அறியான்.
