ஒருவனும் புது திராட்சரசத்தைப் பழந்துருத்திகளில் வார்த்துவைக்கமாட்டான்; வார்த்துவைத்தால், புதுரசம் துருத்திகளைக் கிழித்துப்போடும், இரசமும் சிந்திப்போம்; துருத்திகளும் கெட்டுப்போம்; புதுரசத்தைப் புது துருத்திகளில் வார்த்துவைக்கவேண்டும் என்றார்.

ஒருவனும் புதிய திராட்சைரசத்தைப் பழைய தோல் பைகளில் ஊற்றி வைக்கமாட்டான்; ஊற்றிவைத்தால், புதிய இரசம் தோல் பைகளைக் கிழித்துப்போடும், இரசமும் சிந்திப்போகும், தோல் பைகளும் கெட்டுப்போகும்; புதிய இரசத்தைப் புதிய தோல் பைகளில் ஊற்றி வைக்கவேண்டும் என்றார்.

எவனொருவனும் புதிய திராட்சை இரசத்தை பழைய தோல் பையில் ஊற்றி வைக்கமாட்டான். ஊற்றி வைத்தால் புதிய இரசம் பழைய பையைக் கெடுத்துவிடும். அதோடு இரசமும் சிந்திவிடும். புதிய இரசத்தைப் புதிய பைகளிலேதான் மக்கள் ஊற்றி வைப்பார்கள்” என்று சொன்னார்.

அதுபோலப் பழைய தோற்பைகளில், எவரும் புதிய திராட்சை மதுவை ஊற்றி வைப்பதில்லை. ஊற்றிவைத்தால் மது தோற்பைகளை வெடிக்கச் செய்யும்; மதுவும் தோற்பைகளும் பாழாகும். புதிய மது புதுத் தோற்பைகளுக்கே ஏற்றது” என்றார்.
