அவர் கரையிலிறங்கினபோது, நெடுநாளாய்ப் பிசாசுகள் பிடித்தவனும் வஸ்திரந்தரியாதவனும், வீட்டில் தங்காமல் பிரேதக் கல்லறைகளிலே தங்கினவனுமாயிருந்த அந்தப் பட்டணத்து மனுஷன் ஒருவன் அவருக்கு எதிராக வந்தான்.

அவனுடைய பராக்கிரமசாலிகளின் கேடகம் இரத்தமயமாகும்; அவனுடைய போர்வீரர்கள் இரத்தாம்பரம் அணிந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவன் தன்னை ஆயத்தம்செய்யும் நாளிலே இரதங்கள் மின்னுகிற சக்கரங்களை உடையதாக இருக்கும்; ஈட்டிகள் குலுங்கும்.
