லீபனோன் துவக்கி மிஸ்ரபோத்மாயீம் மட்டும் மலைகளில் குடியிருக்கிற யாவருடைய நாடும், சீதோனியருடைய எல்லா நாடும்தானே. நான் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்துவேன்; நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, நீ இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகச் சீட்டுகளைமாத்திரம் போட்டுத் தேசத்தைப் பங்கிடவேண்டும்.

“சீதோனின் ஜனங்கள் லீபனோனிலிருந்து மிஸ்ரெபோத்மாயீம் வரையுள்ள மலைநாட்டில் வசித்து வருகின்றனர். இஸ்ரவேலருக்காக இவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நான் துரத்துவேன். இஸ்ரவேலின் ஜனங்களுக்காக தேசத்தைப் பிரிக்கும்போது இத்தேசத்தையும் ஞாபகப்படுத்திக்கொள். நான் உனக்குச் சொன்னபடியே இதைச் செய்.

All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
