இணை வசனம்

தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷனைப் பூமியின் மண்ணினாலே உருவாக்கி, ஜீவசுவாசத்தை அவன் நாசியிலே ஊதினார், மனுஷன் ஜீவாத்துமாவானான்.

நீ பூமியிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்டபடியால், நீ பூமிக்குத் திரும்புமட்டும் உன் முகத்தின் வேர்வையால் ஆகாரம் புசிப்பாய்; நீ மண்ணாயிருக்கிறாய், மண்ணுக்குத் திரும்புவாய் என்றார்.

இப்பொழுதும் கர்த்தாவே, நீர் எங்களுடைய பிதா, நாங்கள் களிமண்; நீர் எங்களை உருவாக்குகிறவர், நாங்கள் அனைவரும் உமது கரத்தின் கிரியை.

இவ்விதமாய் மண்ணானது தான் முன்னிருந்த பூமிக்குத் திரும்பி, ஆவி தன்னைத் தந்த தேவனிடத்திற்கு மறுபடியும் போகாததற்குமுன்னும், அவரை உன் வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே நினை.

இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரே, இந்தக் குயவன் செய்ததுபோல நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யக் கூடாதோ என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இதோ இஸ்ரவேல் வீட்டாரே, களிமண் குயவன் கைகயில் இருக்கிறதுபோல நீங்கள் என் கையில் இருக்கிறீர்கள்.

என் பிராணன் காற்றைப்போலிருக்கிறதென்றும், என் கண்கள் நன்மையைக் காணப்போகிறதில்லையென்றும் நினைத்தருளும்.

அழிவைப்பார்த்து, நீ எனக்குத் தகப்பன் என்கிறேன்; புழுக்களைப்பார்த்து, நீங்கள் எனக்குத் தாயும் எனக்குச் சகோதரியும் என்கிறேன்.

என் பெலன் ஓட்டைப்போல் காய்ந்தது; என் நாவு மேல்வாயோடே ஒட்டிக்கொண்டது; என்னை மரணத்தூளிலே போடுகிறீர்.

கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்களையும் உம்முடைய காருணியங்களையும் நினைத்தருளும், அவைகள் அநாதிகாலமுதல் இருக்கிறதே.

என் துன்பத்தையும் என் வருத்தத்தையும் பார்த்து, என் பாவங்களையெல்லாம் மன்னித்தருளும்.

என் ஜீவன் எவ்வளவு நிலையற்றது என்பதை நினைத்தருளும்; மனுபுத்திரர் யாவரையும் வீணாகச் சிருஷ்டிக்க வேண்டியதென்ன?

நீர் மனுஷரை நிர்த்தூளியாக்கி மனுபுத்திரரே திரும்புங்கள் என்கிறீர்.

கர்த்தாவே, நீர் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களின் நன்மையை நான் கண்டு உம்முடைய ஜாதியின் மகிழ்ச்சியால் மகிழ்ந்து, உம்முடைய சுதந்தரத்தோடே மேன்மைபாராட்டும்படிக்கு,

மண்ணோடுகளுக்கொத்த ஓடாயிருந்தும், தன்னை உருவாக்கினவரோடே வழக்காடுகிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ! களிமண் தன்னை உருவாக்கினவனை நோக்கி: என்ன செய்கிறாயென்று சொல்லத்தகுமோ? உன் கிரியையானது: அவருக்குக் கைகளில்லையென்று சொல்லலாமோ?

மிதியிட்ட ஒரே களிமண்ணினாலே குயவன் ஒரு பாத்திரத்தைக் கனமான காரியத்துக்கும், ஒரு பாத்திரத்தைக் கனவீனமான காரியத்துக்கும் பண்ணுகிறதற்கு மண்ணின்மேல் அவனுக்கு அதிகாரம் இல்லையோ?
