எரேமியா 34:20
நான் அவர்களை அவர்கள் சத்துருக்களின் கையிலும், அவர்கள் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; அவர்களுடைய பிரேதம் ஆகாயத்தின் பறவைகளுக்கும் பூமியின் மிருகங்களுக்கும் இரையாகும்.

மலைகளில் தாபோரும், சமுத்திரத்தின் அருகே கர்மேலும் இருக்கிறதுபோல அவன் கண்டிப்பாக வருவானென்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் என்னும் பெயருள்ள ராஜா தம்முடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறார்.

இந்த வார்த்தை அரசரிடமிருந்து வந்தது. அந்த அரசர் சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர். “நான் என் ஜீவனில் ஆணையிட்டுச் சொல்கிறேன். ஒரு வல்லமைமிக்கத் தலைவன் வருவான். அவன் கடலருகில் உள்ள தாபோர்மலை மற்றும் கர்மேல் மலையைப் போன்றும் இருப்பான்.
