ஏசாயா 37
14 எசேக்கியா ஸ்தானாபதிகளின் கையிலிருந்த நிருபத்தை வாங்கி வாசித்தான்; பின்பு எசேக்கியா கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போய் அதைக் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக விரித்து,
15 கர்த்தரை நோக்கி:
16 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தாவே, கேருபீன்களின் மத்தியில் வாசம்பண்ணுகிற இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, நீர் ஒருவரே பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களுக்கெல்லாம் தேவனானவர்; நீர் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கினீர்.
17 கர்த்தாவே, உமது செவியைச் சாய்த்துக்கேளும்; கர்த்தாவே, நீர் உமது கண்களைத் திறந்துபாரும், சனகெரிப் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனை நிந்திக்கும்படிக்குச் சொல்லியனுப்பின வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம் கேளும்.
18 கர்த்தாவே, அசீரியா ராஜாக்கள் அந்த ஜாதிகளையும், அவர்கள் தேசத்தையும் நாசமாக்கி,
19 அவர்களுடைய தேவர்களை நெருப்பிலே போட்டுவிட்டது மெய்தான்; அவைகள் தேவர்கள் அல்லவே, மனுஷர் கைவேலியான மரமும் கல்லுந்தானே; ஆகையால் அவைகளை நீர்த்துளியாக்கினார்கள்.
20 இப்போதும் எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் ஒருவரே கர்த்தர் என்று பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களெல்லாம் அறியும்படிக்கு, எங்களை அவன் கைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சியும் என்று விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணினான்.
14 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord.
15 And Hezekiah prayed unto the Lord, saying,
16 O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
17 Incline thine ear, O Lord, and hear; open thine eyes, O Lord, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.
18 Of a truth, Lord, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,
19 And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
20 Now therefore, O Lord our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord, even thou only.

25 தூபபீடத்தையும் சீத்திம் மரத்தினால் உண்டாக்கினான்; அது ஒரு முழ நீளமும் ஒரு முழ அகலமுமான சதுரமும் இரண்டு முழ உயரமுமாய் இருந்தது; அதின் கொம்புகள் அதனோடே ஏகவேலைப்பாடாயிருந்தது.
And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
26 அதின் மேற்புறத்தையும், அதின் சுற்றுப்புறத்தையும், அதின் கொம்புகளையும், பசும்பொன்தகட்டால் மூடி, சுற்றிலும் அதற்குப் பொன் திரணையை உண்டு பண்ணி,
And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
27 அந்தத் திரணையின்கீழ் அதின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களில் இருக்கும் இரண்டு மூலைகளிலும் இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அதைச் சுமக்கும் தண்டுகளைப் பாய்ச்சும் இடங்களாகத் தைத்து,
And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
28 சீத்திம் மரத்தால் அந்தத் தண்டுகளைச் செய்து, அவைகளைப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான்.
And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
