ஏசாயா 28
23 செவிகொடுத்து என் சத்தத்தைக் கேளுங்கள்; நான் சொல்வதைக் கவனித்துக் கேளுங்கள்.
24 உழுகிறவன் விதைக்கிறதற்காக நாள்தோறும் உழுகிறதுண்டோ? தன் நிலத்தைக் கொத்தி நாள்தோறும் பரம்படிக்கிறது உண்டோ?
25 அவன் அதை மேலாக நிரவினபின்பு, அததற்கேற்ற இடத்தில் உளுந்தைத் தெளித்து, சீரகத்தைத் தூவி, முதல்தரமான கோதுமையையும் தெரிந்துகொண்ட வாற்கோதுமையையும் கம்பையும் விதைக்கிறான் அல்லவோ?
26 அவனுடைய தேவன் அவனை நன்றாய்ப் போதித்து, அவனை உணர்த்துகிறார்.
27 உளுந்து தூலத்தாலே போரடிக்கப்படுகிறதில்லை; சீரகத்தின்மேல் வண்டிலின் உருளைச் சுற்ற விடப்படுகிறதுமில்லை; உளுந்து கோலினாலும் சீரகம் மிலாற்றினாலும் அடிக்கப்படும்.
28 அப்பத்துக்குத் தானியம் இடிக்கப்படும்; இடைவிடாமல் அவன் அதைப் போரடிக்கிறதில்லை; அவன் தன் வண்டிலின் உருளையால் அதை நசுக்குகிறதுமில்லை, தன் குதிரைகளால் அதை நொறுக்குகிறதுமில்லை.
23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
27 For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

25 தூபபீடத்தையும் சீத்திம் மரத்தினால் உண்டாக்கினான்; அது ஒரு முழ நீளமும் ஒரு முழ அகலமுமான சதுரமும் இரண்டு முழ உயரமுமாய் இருந்தது; அதின் கொம்புகள் அதனோடே ஏகவேலைப்பாடாயிருந்தது.
And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
26 அதின் மேற்புறத்தையும், அதின் சுற்றுப்புறத்தையும், அதின் கொம்புகளையும், பசும்பொன்தகட்டால் மூடி, சுற்றிலும் அதற்குப் பொன் திரணையை உண்டு பண்ணி,
And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
27 அந்தத் திரணையின்கீழ் அதின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களில் இருக்கும் இரண்டு மூலைகளிலும் இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அதைச் சுமக்கும் தண்டுகளைப் பாய்ச்சும் இடங்களாகத் தைத்து,
And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
28 சீத்திம் மரத்தால் அந்தத் தண்டுகளைச் செய்து, அவைகளைப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான்.
And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
