ஏசாயா 22
15 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைத்ததாவது: நீ அரமனை விசாரிப்புக்காரனும் பொக்கிஷக்காரனுமாகிய செப்னா என்பவனிடத்தில் போய்ச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்,
16 உயர்ந்த ஸ்தலத்திலே தன் கல்லறையை வெட்டி, கன்மலையிலே தனக்கு வாசஸ்தலத்தைத் தோண்டுகிறவனைப்போல, நீ உனக்கு இங்கே கல்லறையை வெட்டும்படிக்கு உனக்கு இங்கே என்ன இருக்கிறது? உனக்கு இங்கே யார் இருக்கிறார்கள்?
17 இதோ, பெலவான் ஒருவனைத் துரத்துகிறவண்ணமாகக் கர்த்தர் உன்னைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, நிச்சயமாய் உன்னை மூடிப்போடுவார்.
18 அவர் உன்னை உருண்டையைப்போல அகலமும் விசாலமுமான தேசத்திலே சுழற்றி எறிந்துவிடுவார்; அங்கே நீ சாவாய், அங்கே உன் மகிமையின் இரதங்கள் உன் ஆண்டவனுடைய வீட்டுக்கு இகழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கும்.
19 உன்னை உன் நிலையைவிட்டுத் துரத்திவிடுவேன்; உன் ஸ்தானத்திலிருந்து நீ பிடுங்கிப்போடப்படுவாய்.
20 அந்நாளிலே இலக்கியாவின் குமாரனாகிய எலியாக்கீம் என்னும் என் ஊழியக்காரனை நான் அழைத்து:
21 உன் வஸ்திரத்தை அவனுக்குத் தரித்து, உன் கச்சையால் அவனை இடைக்கட்டி, உன் அதிகாரத்தை அவன் கையிலே கொடுப்பேன்; அவன் எருசலேமின் குடிகளுக்கும் யூதாவின் வம்சத்துக்கும் தகப்பனாயிருப்பான்.
22 தாவீதுடைய வீட்டின் திறவுகோலை அவன் தோளின்மேல் வைப்பேன்; ஒருவரும் பூட்டக் கூடாதபடிக்கு அவன் திறப்பான். ஒருவரும் திறக்கக் கூடாதபடிக்கு அவன் பூட்டுவான்.
23 அவனை உறுதியான இடத்திலே ஆணியாகக் கடாவுவேன்; அவன் தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டுக்கு மகிமையான சிங்காசனமாக இருப்பான்.
24 அதின்மேல் அவன் தகப்பன் வம்சத்தாராகிய புத்திரர் பௌத்திரருடைய மகிமை அனைத்தையும் சிறிதும் பெரிதுமான சகல பானபாத்திரங்களையும் தூக்கிவைப்பர்கள்.
15 Thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
16 What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
17 Behold, the Lord will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
18 He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord’s house.
19 And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
21 And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.
24 And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.

25 தூபபீடத்தையும் சீத்திம் மரத்தினால் உண்டாக்கினான்; அது ஒரு முழ நீளமும் ஒரு முழ அகலமுமான சதுரமும் இரண்டு முழ உயரமுமாய் இருந்தது; அதின் கொம்புகள் அதனோடே ஏகவேலைப்பாடாயிருந்தது.
And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
26 அதின் மேற்புறத்தையும், அதின் சுற்றுப்புறத்தையும், அதின் கொம்புகளையும், பசும்பொன்தகட்டால் மூடி, சுற்றிலும் அதற்குப் பொன் திரணையை உண்டு பண்ணி,
And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
27 அந்தத் திரணையின்கீழ் அதின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களில் இருக்கும் இரண்டு மூலைகளிலும் இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அதைச் சுமக்கும் தண்டுகளைப் பாய்ச்சும் இடங்களாகத் தைத்து,
And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
28 சீத்திம் மரத்தால் அந்தத் தண்டுகளைச் செய்து, அவைகளைப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான்.
And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
