அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, உன் விரலினால் பலிபீடத்தின் கொம்புகள்மேல் இட்டு, மற்ற இரத்தம் முழுவதையும் பலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே ஊற்றி,

தாவீதும், ஆசாபும், ஏமானும், ராஜாவின் தரிசனம் காண்கிறவனாகிய எதுத்தூனும் கற்பித்தபடியே, ஆசாபின் சந்ததியாராகிய பாடகர்கள் தங்களுடைய இடத்திலும், வாசல்காவலாளர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு வாசலிலும் நின்றார்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் வேலையைவிட்டு விலகமுடியாமலிருந்தது; லேவியரான அவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்கள் அவர்களுக்காக ஆயத்தம் செய்தார்கள்.

ஆசாப் குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்த லேவியப் பாடகர்கள் அரசன் தாவீது தங்களுக்கு ஒதுக்கிய இடத்தை அடைந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் ஆசாப், ஏமான், அரசனின் தீர்க்கதரிசியான எதுத்தானும் சொன்னபடியே தங்கள் இடங்களில் நின்றுக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். வாசல் காவலர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு வாசலிலும் நின்றார்கள். அவர்கள் தங்கள் வேலையைவிட்டு விலகாமல் இருந்தார்கள். ஏனென்றால் அவர்களுக்காக அவர்களின் சகோதரரான லேவியர்கள் பஸ்காவில் அனைத்தையும் தயார் செய்துவிட்டனர்.
