கர்த்தர் அவர்களை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினதினால், இது அவருக்கென்று முக்கியமாய் ஆசரிக்கத்தக்க ராத்திரியாயிற்று; இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியார் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் கர்த்தருக்கு முக்கியமாய் ஆசரிக்கவேண்டிய ராத்திரி இதுவே.

It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
