உபாகமம் 23
15 தன் எஜமானுக்குத் தப்பி உன்னிடத்தில் வந்த வேலைக்காரனை அவனுடைய எஜமான் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடாயாக.
16 அவன் உனக்கு இருக்கிற உன் வாசல்கள் ஒன்றிலே தனக்குச் சம்மதியான இடத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அதிலே உன்னுடனே இருப்பானாக; அவனை ஒடுக்கவேண்டாம்.
17 இஸ்ரவேலின் குமாரத்திகளில் ஒருத்தியும் வேசியாயிருக்கக் கூடாது; இஸ்ரவேலின் குமாரரில் ஒருவனும் ஆண்புணர்ச்சிக்காரனாயிருக்கக் கூடாது.
18 வேசிப்பணயத்தையும், நாயின் கிரயத்தையும் எந்தப் பொருத்தனையினாலாகிலும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்திலே கொண்டுவராயாக; அவைகள் இரண்டும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானவைகள்.
19 கடனாகக் கொடுக்கிற பணத்துக்கும் ஆகாரத்துக்கும், கடனாகக் கொடுக்கிறவேறே எந்தப் பொருளுக்கும், உன் சகோதரன் கையில் வட்டி வாங்காயாக.
20 அந்நியன் கையில் நீ வட்டிவாங்கலாம்; நீ சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நீ கையிடும்வேலையிலெல்லாம் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி உன் சகோதரன் கையிலே வட்டிவாங்காயாக.
21 நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பொருத்தனை பண்ணியிருந்தால், அதைச் செலுத்தத் தாமதஞ்செய்யாதே; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அதை நிச்சயமாய் உன் கையில் கேட்பார்; அது உனக்குப் பாவமாகும்.
15 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
16 He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
16 அவன் உனக்கு இருக்கிற உன் வாசல்கள் ஒன்றிலே தனக்குச் சம்மதியான இடத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அதிலே உன்னுடனே இருப்பானாக; அவனை ஒடுக்கவேண்டாம்.

17 இஸ்ரவேலின் குமாரத்திகளில் ஒருத்தியும் வேசியாயிருக்கக் கூடாது; இஸ்ரவேலின் குமாரரில் ஒருவனும் ஆண்புணர்ச்சிக்காரனாயிருக்கக் கூடாது.
There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 வேசிப்பணயத்தையும், நாயின் கிரயத்தையும் எந்தப் பொருத்தனையினாலாகிலும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்திலே கொண்டுவராயாக; அவைகள் இரண்டும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானவைகள்.
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
19 கடனாகக் கொடுக்கிற பணத்துக்கும் ஆகாரத்துக்கும், கடனாகக் கொடுக்கிறவேறே எந்தப் பொருளுக்கும், உன் சகோதரன் கையில் வட்டி வாங்காயாக.
Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
20 அந்நியன் கையில் நீ வட்டிவாங்கலாம்; நீ சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நீ கையிடும்வேலையிலெல்லாம் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி உன் சகோதரன் கையிலே வட்டிவாங்காயாக.
Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
21 நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பொருத்தனை பண்ணியிருந்தால், அதைச் செலுத்தத் தாமதஞ்செய்யாதே; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அதை நிச்சயமாய் உன் கையில் கேட்பார்; அது உனக்குப் பாவமாகும்.
When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
