தானியேல் 3:6
எவனாகிலும் தாழ விழுந்து, அதைப் பணிந்துகொள்ளாமற்போனால், அவன் அந்நேரமே எரிகிற அக்கினிச்சூலையின் நடுவிலே போடப்படுவான் என்றான்.

சேபாவின் அரசி, சாலொமோனின் புகழைக் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, விடுகதைகளினாலே சாலொமோனை சோதிக்கிறதற்காக, திரளான கூட்டத்தினரோடும், கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், மிகுதியான பொன்னையும் இரத்தினங்களையும் சுமக்கிற ஒட்டகங்களோடும் எருசலேமுக்கு வந்தாள்; அவள் சாலொமோனிடத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, தன் மனதிலிருந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் குறித்து அவனிடத்தில் உரையாடினாள்.

சீபா நாட்டு அரசி சாலொமோனின் மேன்மையை அறிந்தாள். அவள் எருசலேமிற்கு வந்து சாலொமோனைக் கடினமான கேள்விகளால் சோதிக்க விரும்பினாள். அவளோடு ஒரு பெரிய குழுவும் வந்தது. அவள் தனது ஒட்டகங்களில் மணப்பொருட்களையும், பொன்னையும், இரத்தினங்களையும் கொண்டு வந்தாள். அவள் சாலொமோனிடம் வந்து அவனிடம் பேசினாள். சாலொமோனிடம் கேட்பதற்கு அவளிடம் ஏராளமான கேள்விகள் இருந்தன.
