இணை வசனம்

யோசுவா ஆயியைப் பிடித்து, சங்காரம்பண்ணி, எரிகோவுக்கும் அதின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்ததையும், கிபியோனின் குடிகள் இஸ்ரவேலோடே சமாதானம்பண்ணி அவர்களுக்குள் வாசமாயிருக்கிறதையும், எருசலேமின் ராஜாவாகிய அதோனிசேதேக் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது,

ஆடுகளை ஓநாய்களுக்குள்ளே அனுப்புகிறது போல, இதோ, நான் உங்களை அனுப்புகிறேன்; ஆகையால், சர்ப்பங்களைப்போல வினாவுள்ளவர்களாயும் புறாக்களைப்போல கபடற்றவர்களுமாய் இருங்கள்.

அவன் என்னுடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் எவ்வளவாய்ப் பாடுபடவேண்டுமென்பதை நான் அவனுக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன்

யூதர்கள் பக்தியும் கனமுமுள்ள ஸ்திரீகளையும் பட்டணத்து முதலாளிகளையும் எடுத்துவிட்டு, பவுலையும் பர்னபாவையும் துன்பப்படுத்தும்படி செய்து, தங்கள் எல்லைகளுக்குப் புறம்பாக அவர்களைத் துரத்திவிட்டார்கள்.

விசுவாசியாத யூதர்கள் சகோதரருக்கு விரோதமாகப் புறஜாதியாருடைய மனதை எழுப்பிவிட்டு, பகையுண்டாக்கினார்க்ள்.

பின்பு அந்தியோகியாவிலும் இக்கோனியாவிலுமிருந்து சில யூதர்கள்வந்து, ஜனங்களுக்குப் போதனைசெய்து, பவுலைக் கல்லெறிந்து, அவன் மரித்துப்போனானென்று எண்ணி, அவனைப் பட்டணத்துக்கு வெளியிலே இழுத்துக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.

அதற்கு அவர்: நீ போ, நான் உன்னைத் தூரமாய்ப் புறஜாதிகளிடத்திலே அனுப்புவேன் என்று சொன்னார் என்றான்.

அநேகந்தரம் பிரயாணம்பண்ணினேன்; ஆறுகளால் வந்த மோசங்களிலும், கள்ளரால் வந்த மோசங்களிலும், என் சுயஜனங்களால் வந்த மோசங்களிலும், அந்நிய ஜனங்களால் வந்த மோசங்களிலும், பட்டணங்களில் உண்டான மோசங்களிலும், வனாந்தரத்தில் உண்டான மோசங்களிலும், சமுத்திரத்தில் உண்டான மோசங்களிலும், கள்ளச்சகோதரரிடத்தில் உண்டான மோசங்களிலும்;

எனக்கு முன்னே அப்போஸ்தலரானவர்களிடத்திலே எருசலேமுக்குப்போகாமலும்; அரபிதேசத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், மறுபடியும் தமஸ்கு ஊருக்குத் திரும்பிவந்தேன்.

அந்த யூதர்கள் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவையும், தங்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும் கொலைசெய்தவர்களும், எங்களைத் துன்பப்படுத்தினவர்களும், தேவனுக்கேற்காதவர்களும், மனுஷர் யாவருக்கும் விரோதிகளுமாயிருந்து,
