ரூத் 2:11
அதற்குப் போவாஸ் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: உன் புருஷன் மரணமடைந்த பின்பு, நீ உன் மாமியாருக்காகச் செய்ததும், நீ உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும், உன் ஜந்மதேசத்தையும் விட்டு, முன்னே நீ அறியாத ஜனங்களிடத்தில் வந்ததும் எல்லாம் எனக்கு விவரமாய்த் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

அப்பொழுது யூதாவின் மனுஷர் வந்து, அங்கே தாவீதை யூதா வம்சத்தாரின்மேல் ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்கள். கீலேயாத்தேசத்து யாபேசின் மனுஷர் சவுலை அடக்கம்பண்ணினவர்கள் என்று அவர்கள் தாவீதுக்கு அறிவித்த போது,
