அம்மோன் புத்திரர் புறப்பட்டு, ஒலிமுகவாசலண்டையிலே போர்செய்ய அணிவகுத்து நின்றார்கள்; ஆனாலும் சோபாவிலும் ரேகோபிலுமிருந்துவந்த சீரியரும், இஷ்தோபிலும், மாக்காவிலுமிருந்து வந்த மனுஷரும், வெளியிலே பிரத்தியேகமாயிருந்தார்கள்.

அம்மோன் மக்கள் புறப்பட்டு, நகரத்து வாசலிலே யுத்தம்செய்ய அணிவகுத்து நின்றார்கள்; ஆனாலும் சோபாவிலும் ரேகோபிலுமிருந்து வந்த சீரியர்களும், இஷ்தோபிலும் மாக்காவிலுமிருந்து வந்த மனிதர்களும், வெளியிலே தனியாக இருந்தார்கள்.

அம்மோனியர் புறப்பட்டு போருக்குத் தயாராயினர். அவர்கள் நகர வாயிலருகே நின்றுக்கொண்டனர். சோபா, ரேகோப் ஆகிய இடங்களிலுள்ள ஆராமியரும் தோப், மாக்கா ஆகிய இடங்களிலுள்ள வீரர்களும் யுத்தக் களத்தில் அம்மோனியரோடு சேர்ந்து நிற்கவில்லை.
