அப்பொழுது நான், அவர் விழுந்த பின்பு பிழைக்கமாட்டார் என்று நிச்சயித்து, அவரண்டையில் போய் நின்று அவரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டேன்; பிற்பாடு அவர் தலையின்மேல் இருந்த முடியையும் அவர் புயத்தில் இருந்த அஸ்தகடகத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு அவைகளை இங்கே என் ஆண்டவனிடத்திற்குக்; கொண்டு வந்தேன் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது நான், அவர் விழுந்த பின்பு பிழைக்கமாட்டார் என்று நிச்சயித்து, அவருக்கு அருகில் போய் நின்று, அவரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டேன்; பின்பு அவருடைய தலையின்மேல் இருந்த கிரீடத்தையும் அவருடைய கையில் இருந்த காப்பையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவைகளை இங்கே என்னுடைய ஆண்டவனிடம் கொண்டுவந்தேன் என்றான்.

அவர் அதிகமாகக் காயப்பட்டிருந்ததால், இனி உயிர் பிழைக்கமாட்டார் என்பதை நான் மிக நன்கு அறிந்தேன். எனவே நான் அவரைக் கொன்றேன். பின்பு அவரது தலையிலிருந்த கிரீடத்தையும் புயங்களில் இருந்த கடகத்தையும் கழற்றினேன். அவற்றை என் ஆண்டவனாகிய உங்களிடம் கொண்டுவந்துள்ளேன்” என்றான்.
