அப்பொழுது ரமாவுக்கடுத்த நாயோதிற்குப் போனான்; அவன் மேலும் தேவனுடைய ஆவி இறங்கினதினால் அவன் ராமாவுக்கடுத்த நாயோதிலே சேருமட்டும், தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே நடந்துவந்து,

அவர்கள் அந்த மலைக்கு வந்த போது, இதோ, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் கூட்டம் அவனுக்கு எதிராக வந்தது; அப்பொழுது தேவனுடைய ஆவி அவன்மேல் இறங்கினதினால், அவனும் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னான்.

அப்பொழுது சவுல்: தாவீதைக் கொண்டுவரச் சேவகரை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் கூட்டத்தையும், சாமுவேல் அவர்களின் தலைவனாக நிற்கிறதையும் கண்டார்கள்; அப்பொழுது சவுலினுடைய சேவகΰின்மேல͠தேவனுடைய ஆவி இறங்கினதினால் அவர்களும் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னார்கள்.

கர்த்தர் பிலேயாமின் வாயிலே வாக்கு அருளி: நீ பாலாகினிடத்தில் திரும்பிப்போய், இவ்விதமாய்ச் சொல்லக்கடவாய் என்றார்.

தன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேல் தன் கோத்திரங்களின்படியே பாளயமிறங்கியிருக்கிறதைப் பார்த்தான்; தேவ ஆவி அவன்மேல் வந்தது.

மனுஷனுடைய இருதயம் அவனுடைய வழியை யோசிக்கும்; அவனுடைய நடைகளை உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறவரோ கர்த்தர்.

ராஜாவின் இருதயம் கர்த்தரின் கையில் நீர்க்கால்களைப்போலிருக்கிறது; அதைத் தமது சித்தத்தின்படி அவர் திருப்புகிறார்.

அந்நாளில் அநேகர் என்னை நோக்கி: கர்த்தாவே! கர்த்தாவே! உமது நாமத்தினாலே தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்தோம் அல்லவா? உமது நாமத்தினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தினோம் அல்லவா? என்பார்கள்.

இதை அவன் சுயமாய்ச் சொல்லாமல், அந்த வருஷத்துப் பிரதான ஆசாரியனானபடியினாலே இயேசு யூதஜனங்களுக்காக மரிக்கப்போகிறாரென்றும்,

நான் தீர்க்கதரிசன வரத்தை உடையவனாயிருந்து, சகல இரகசியங்களையும், சகல அறிவையும் அறிந்தாலும், மலைகளைப் பேர்க்கத்தக்கதாக சகல விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாயிருந்தாலும், அன்பு எனக்கிராவிட்டால் நான் ஒன்றுமில்லை.
