எஸ்றா 7:6
இந்த எஸ்றா இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அருளிய மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலே தேறின வேதபாரகனாயிருந்தான்; அவனுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கரம் அவன்மேல் இருந்ததினால், அவன் கேட்டவைகளையெல்லாம் ராஜா அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்.

எப்படியென்றால், உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக என்றும், தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது அவமதிக்கிறவன் கொல்லப்படவேண்டும் என்றும், மோசே சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே.

‘உங்கள் தாய்க்கும் தந்தைக்கும் மதிப்பு கொடுங்கள்’ என்று மோசே சொல்லி இருக்கிறான். மேலும் அவன் ‘எவன் ஒருவன் தன் தந்தையிடமோ அல்லது தாயிடமோ கெட்டவற்றைப் பேசுகிறானோ அவன் கொலை செய்யப்படத்தக்கவன்’ என்று கூறி இருக்கிறான்.
