யோசுவா 10:24
அவர்களை யோசுவாவினிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் மனுஷரையெல்லாம் அழைப்பித்து, தன்னோடேகூட வந்த யுத்தமனுஷரின் அதிபதிகளை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் கிட்டவந்து, உங்கள் கால்களை இந்த ராஜாக்களுடைய கழுத்துகளின்மேல் வையுங்கள் என்றான்; அவர்கள் கிட்ட வந்து, தங்கள் கால்களை அவர்கள் கழுத்துகளின்மேல் வைத்தார்கள்.

அவர்களை யோசுவாவிடம் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் மனிதர்கள் அனைவரையும் அழைத்து, தன்னோடு வந்த யுத்தமனிதர்களின் அதிகாரிகளை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் அருகில் வந்து, உங்கள் கால்களை இந்த ராஜாக்களுடைய கழுத்துகளின்மேல் வையுங்கள் என்றான்; அவர்கள் அருகில் வந்து, தங்களுடைய கால்களை அவர்கள் கழுத்துகளின்மேல் வைத்தார்கள்.

அவர்கள் அந்த ஐந்து அரசர்களையும் யோசுவாவிடம் அழைத்து வந்தனர். அவ்விடத்திற்கு வருமாறு யோசுவா தன் எல்லா ஆட்களையும் அழைத்தான். யோசுவா படையதிகாரிகளை நோக்கி, “இங்கே வாருங்கள்! உங்கள் பாதங்களை இந்த அரசர்களின் கழுத்தின் மீது வையுங்கள்” என்றான். அவ்வாறே யோசுவாவின் படை அதிகாரிகள் நெருங்கி வந்து அந்த அரசர்களின் கழுத்துக்களின் மீது தங்கள் பாதங்களை வைத்தனர்.
