எப்பிராயீம் யூதாவைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்த நாள்முதல் வராத நாட்களைக் கர்த்தர் உன்மேலும், உன் ஜனத்தின்மேலும், உன் பிதாவுடைய வம்சத்தின்மேலும், அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவினாலே வரப்பண்ணுவார்.

“ஆனால் நீ கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டும். ஏனென்றால், கர்த்தர் உனக்கு துன்பக் காலங்களைக் கொண்டுவருவார். அத்துன்பங்கள் உனது ஜனங்களுக்கும் உன் தந்தையின் குடும்பத்து ஜனங்களுக்கும் ஏற்படும். தேவன் என்ன செய்வார்? தேவன் அசீரியாவின் அரசனை உனக்கு எதிராகப் போரிட அழைத்து வருவார்.

The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.

Jehovah will bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah-`even' the king of Assyria.

thy father's אָבִיךָ֒ ʾāb av
days יָמִים֙ yôm yome
that אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
have not לֹא lōʾ loh
come, בָ֔אוּ bôʾ boh
from the day לְמִיּ֥וֹם yôm yome
departed סוּר sûr soor
that Ephraim אֶפְרַ֖יִם ʾeprayim ef-ra-YEEM
from מֵעַ֣ל ʿal al
Judah; יְהוּדָ֑ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
אֵ֖ת ʾēt ate
the king מֶ֥לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
