ਤਾਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਦੂਤ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵੱਲ ਨਿਕਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਤਦ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਂ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ। ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਤੱਪੜ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਬੋਲ ਹਟਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਅਹਾਬ ਬੜਾ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੜਾ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਫ਼ਾੜ ਲੇ। ਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਖਾਸ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾ ਲਏ ਤੇ ਖਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੜਾ ਉਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਸੀ।

ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੁਕ ਗਏ।
ਯਵਨਾਹ 3:6
ਜਦੋਂ ਨੀਨਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖਤ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਰ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਚੋਗਾ ਉਤਾਰ ਕੇ ਸੋਗ ਦੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਨ ਲੇ ਜੋ ਪਛਚਾਤਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਸੁਆਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਸਨ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ। ਕੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹੀ ਸਿਲਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ?
੨ ਸਲਾਤੀਨ 19:1
ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨਬੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਖੱਦਰ ਜਿਹਾ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਲਪੇਟ ਲਿਆ। (ਜੋ ਇਹ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬੜਾ ਉਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੈ।) ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ।

ਤਦ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ! ਮੈਂ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕੇ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੌਜੁਆਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਇਰਦ ਗਿਰਦ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਾੜ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਘੋੜਿਆ ਤੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 5:13
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦਾ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੱਲ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਲੋਤਿਆ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੈ?”
ਗਿਣਤੀ 22:31
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਫ਼ੜਕੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਝੁਕ ਗਿਆ।

ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 14:19
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਿਸਰੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ। (ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।) ਇਸ ਅਲੀ ਲੰਮਾ ਬੱਦਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 3:24
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਦਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਾਗ਼ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੈਨਾਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਅਗਨੀ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਹ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਿਰੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਦੀ ਸੀ।
