Zechariah 2:12
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੁੜ ਤੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਾਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਚੁਣੇਗਾ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਪਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉਹ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣ ਕਰੋ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ। ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਪਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਹਿੱਸਾ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਕੰਮੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਸਾਜੀ, ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ।
