Psalm 50:9
ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਲਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਾੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬੱਕਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।

ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਂਦੀਆਂ। ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਧੂਫ਼ ਧੁਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਬਕੱ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ? ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਵਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਕੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਵਾਂ? ਜਦੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀਸ ਝੁਕਾਵਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਵੱਛਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ 1,000 ਹੋਵਾਂ?

ਇਹ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ।
