ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਪਸਾਹ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਨਾ ਸੱਕੇ। ਉਹ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਜਿਸਮ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਕੋਲ ਗਏ।

ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੌਹਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਪੁੱਛਾਂ।
ਗਿਣਤੀ 19:16
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਬਿਧੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜੇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

“ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਡੇਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਰੱਖਣ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜ ਦੇਣ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਮੜੀ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਜਿਸਮ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਸਾਧਾਰਣ ਦ੍ਰਵ ਰਿਸਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੂਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਖ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਲਾਸ਼ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਦ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਯਾਫ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਅਜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੇਰਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਗਿਣਤੀ 19:18
ਕਿਸੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੂਫ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁਬੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੰਬੂ, ਪਲੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਛਿੜਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਛੂੰਹਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਬਰ ਜਾਂ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੂੰਹਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 18:26
ਇਹ ਹਾਕਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਸਨ। ਲੋਕ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਝਗੜ੍ਹੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਾਕਮਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲਿਆ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 18:19
ਹੁਣ, ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੋਵੇ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਸੁਣਨੀਆਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

“ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਜਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਬਾਰ 24:11
ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਗਾਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਲੰਕਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਸਾ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਆਏ। (ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਲੂਮੀਥ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਿਬਰੀ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ।)

ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਲੀਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਲਾਸ਼ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਪਿਉ ਦੀ।
