ਮੂਸਾ, ਹਾਰੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾ ਨੇ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਭ-ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹੋਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੀ।
